And of course, what the block explorer then allows me to see, is who actually has dumped the coins they earned through bounties Wink

how can you know that from the block explorer? You can see transactions sent from there, but if someone send to an exchange for example, how can you know if they didnt sell any or even sell a few but then rebuy even more coins later? Or how can you know if the address that is send is really from the exchange, since the exchange generate one address for each person?

Explorer shows a series of receipts into one address, then a single, bulk, transfer out of that address. Too much of a coincidence. Anyway, it doesn't matter. I'm just interested in the psychology at work here.

Honestly Harley people aren't interested enough in SOCC to buy this coin, these sales during night were made by 1 person with bot to increase the volume in order to get some people in, it's quite popular "tactic" on yobit.

Not buying at the moment, granted. It may change later on, we will see.

Yes, but i wonder in a broader sense, not necessairly in this specific case. I mean, for like what bitcoin or some altcoins advocate is anonymity. One can send a coin to a specific address, but when it goes to an exchange, for example, it wouldn´t be easy to keep track of what exactly happends inside of their enviroment since buy or sell orders can come from several different people. I will use myself as an example, i have sold some coins, but then i rebuy even more coins at a lower price, so how can you keep track of how many i buy or sell inside of the exchange without being the owner of the exchange? I mean this more as a curiosity, from the anonymity philosophy associated with the altcoins and the exchanges.

Yes see your point and agree, once a coin goes inside the exchange it becomes harder, if not impossible, to 'track'. We do at least know that the coins have gone inside an exchange, since a wallet address on a blockchain receiving inputs form several different sources is, let's face it, going to be an exchange location.

Good morning all Smiley

I will leave some words of wisdom to ponder whilst we endure our fairly new days of trials;
Code:
"It is the long history of humankind (and animal kind, too) that those who learned to collaborate and improvise most effectively have prevailed." – Charles Darwin

Hope everyone is doing well; going to check faucet submissions and head out for the day.
Will be on mobile though.

Also; the person who did sell, what he did was enable the buyer to now sell at a lower rate; probably lower than what it costs to mine at this point.
That being said expect a few days for orders to pick up again.

It makes no sense to talk about it on here; we all need to keep focused keep moving forward.

Great concept and the project is promising. There is quite a lot of work to do I guess so I am looking forward to see how this develops. I can help in terms of (web)design. Designing the ANN-page and such. Let me know if I can help.

 Grin Would anyone else like to donate to get coin listed on Nova? I have put in %50 of the amount which is 0.02; we need 0.02 more.
Once that is done we can start a bounty for voting and get some more of the community involved; even if they are small holders it is good to spread the opportunity at hand.

Pretty soon Social Coin will be one large bounty for those who wish to (be) promote(d) through social media.
I think I will open up my own page soon and start spending some of my SOCC; start putting it to it's potential.

I'm taking care of the other 0.02 - just waiting for confirmations on Yobit then will transfer to Nova and submit for voting. I'm not giving bounties for the exchange, just to make that clear to those who are asking via PMs. I am hoping that the miners who hold SOCC through expending effort and energy are in it for something other than the LOLz.

Awesome dude! (I figure it didn't hurt to ask coming from a holder like me)
What do you mean by bounties for the exchange?

I've been asked by PM as to whether I am still giving away SOCC to those who sponsor or push the Nova listing, or any other listing for that matter. The answer, is no.

I'm not quite understanding;
Social coin is used for promoting content; why not use it to promote itself; e.g. votes?
Even if it's 5 coins/vote; translates to $22.50 compared to paying the 0.4($1,009.00)

Achieved by harnessing the power of social coin.

Just my thoughts though.

No, I mean I was asked for a big bounty in return for submitting it (i.e. paying the 0.04 BTC) in order to then get it listed for voting.

So just waiting for the BTC blockchain now, when it completes we will have sufficient funds to get it listed for voting.

What kind of fool would ask to get paid for submitting it; this is work for Dev only people  Roll Eyes
Some people have nerves to ask such a thing I am wow'd.

I was offering a bounty for those who assisted in the process of getting on the exchange. That was then though, before certain members took what they had and flogged it on Yobit. So now, for the miners who still hold stock, I will fund the listing partly with yourself and we see where we go next.

On that subject, been discussing today with a chap on iOS and Android developments. I see online wallets as crucial to this thing. So that's a key direction for us.

Yes definitely; hopefully he can integrate some sort of API as well; would be crucial in development and enable us to create easy to use bots for multiple social platforms; like Twitter as a small example.

Still waiting on the final confirmations on the exchanges of various currencies in Yobit in order to then clear the BTC required for the Nova listing. Curse the BTC blockchain congestion  Roll Eyes

Don't forget the 20 SOCC payments for Amazon review mentions, which is still very much alive and active. Yes I know this is a good deal less than the boom time 750s but given where this coin will go, it's a sound investment for 2 mins of your time.
