That's a personal preference but I like poloniex more, it's more user friendly and the volume of the coin is pretty high.

Bittrex is good too but check for which coin you are going to trade becaue there can be a difference between exchanges.

Poloniex recently is having trouble with their users, withdrawals and delays.

I use both exchange at this time. Between them there are some advantages that are not owned one of them. So choosing to trade on both website exchange is the best choice. I do not choose one of them, I choose everything for a lot better trading and generate many benefits. It is the choice I want.

I am using both of them as many of us. Of course, Polo is bigger, has more users, more voluminous and i find polo's use easier than Bittrex. But Bittrex has more coins especially more new coins. Which is very very important. New coins is important because good new projects have a huge profit potential.  Now i am increasing my bittrex trade day by day while my Polo trade decreasing.And of course, my investment too.

I more like bittrex than i poloniex. I have said that because i have a friend , there was a hacker in his account it opens his account there many times. Even though he change his password stills it can open his account. Then he do he put a two factor authentication . In bittrex i dont have heard any issue jow and i currently using it.

I've never had issues with them. Actually I had a deposit problem @ Poloniex, but their support fixed it.
Poloniex has bigger volumes, has lending, I am very comfortable with their interface.
Bittrex is smaller, sometimes the trading is slower than I'd like - volume wise - but it favors smaller projects and I like more their politics vs the people and projects using the platform.
My vote is to try both.

Both sites are good and it really depends on on people preference on which site he would use but as a newbie I would go for bittrex. Knowing poloniex does experiencing problems as of now.If you don't like any hassle then go for bittrex but it still depends on you if you find out that poloniex suits for you then better choose on which you are comfortable with.

You're right as poloniex is experiencing a problem bittrex is a better choice for a newbie, for me poloniex is what I recently use because they're so popular when it becomes with trading, Liqui is one of my choices for trading too most probably because it is very simple but it still improving though.

Thats two trading site is safe to the hacker and easy to use like you because you are newbie the features is easy to easily to understand how to use it unlike the other trading site you need to learn more or you need hard understanding before you understand how its work and how to use it. I think Poloniex would be great for Newbies because it's alot quicker to open an account with. I find their Website to be Mobile friendly. I usually use Bittrex on my Computer which I hate doing for Mobility reasons

To gain profit from trade volume i will use poloniex, to diversify trade i use bittrex

unless you want to dump or buy 100+BTC at once at market price i don't see any problems with using bittrex because it has enough liquidity to cover any kind of trade size!

and as for profit, prices go up and down the same way on both exchanges with little difference which is normal among all the markets in the world.

If only there is no much issues to Poloniex right now, Bittrex is nothing compare for being the best one. Still I like Poloniex but their support really sucks which in the past is having a good record.

If you can't handled the stress it will give then choose Bittrex for now.

I use Poloniex in trading alt coins and Im happy so far with what i have acomplised in trading. I signed up with Bittrex a few days ago and look around to compare which platform is easier to use an i find Poloniex more easier to navigate but I noticed that there are coins in bitterex that are not available in poloniex. So if you are kinda serious in trading wants to explore the different coins out there you are free to use both platform.

Both of these two are better for the trading but here I will suggest you to not to use poloniex for the trading in the current time , I am saying because few of my friends are facing problem of withdrawal confirmation problem that is not usual for everyone and everything exchange .
Here my suggestion is for you to do trading at every possible exchange because there are another profits also to do trading at multiple sites exchange .
Here as an newbie I would like to suggest to use yobit.net because this is really a more simple site to handle your trading account and have many better better features ( like yobit code , ip change Restrictions to access , ico , Investment box , better chatbox , faucet , launch coin , many other old coins which are dead ) .

Poloniex or Bittrex?  I suggest you to bittrex.
I will go on bittrex. Bittrex is good trading site you can easily see your portfolio balances & the good one is automatic features of value into btc total all of your coins , you can easily set to auto sell.

Both of them are legit since I've use them over three years without having any problem.
I like bittrex's simple interface and smooth so it's easy for me to learn and adapt in haste.
