i paid $100 for my 750 watts like 6 months ago

i guess those didn't have a crappy MIR though, but this one says 'Receive a $20 mail-in rebate check from SeaSonic! Expires on 5/8/13 ', so I guess maybe at least it isn't one of those prepaid cards

yeah, i'm considering it myself... just to replace the 750 watt seasonic i use in my main computer.  guess i have about 36hrs to decide  Grin

but,

seeing as how the two new 750 watt models sold this month went for $130 and $160,  i guess you couldn't really go wrong

Yeah, could always ebay your old one, and it would be basically free.

much like the situation with 7850's and 7870's  Grin

well, tbh, i'm less than enthused about the 7870's... but the 7850's are definitely worth a used 5830

PSUs are much harder to sell on eBay than any other computer component (maybe besides cases).  Brand names like Corsair seem to sell a little easier than Antec, Seasonic, OCZ, PC P&C, Rosewill, or NZXT.

Hell I tried selling my Antec TPQ-1200 OC for $125 for several months before I eventually got a buyer.

Only Corsair is brand name? Seasonic is the top brand out there. My NZXT is Seasonic guts + 5 year warranty + 3-day replacement of failed units.

I love my 650W Modular Seasonic.  I've never had more than one video card in that system though.   May put 2x 7870 XT soon.

May get this need to see if I get paid for an ebay auction that ended (no faith lol)

Ya I've got the 650, and it's absolutely great. I might grab the 850 so I could throw an extra card or two in there... Hmm... Wink

Bah, only 4x PCIe connectors. Piecing together some 3 card Litecoin rigs and these would be killer PSUs with 6x PCIe connectors.
