Okay, if you have 10 rigs with all the same MBs and GPUs, you might not name you machines...BUT if you are running different hardware in each machine, did you give any of your mining rigs a "nickname"?

For example, one of my rigs is name C.H.U.D.

Worker1, Worker2, Worker3, etc.... Not very creative but it's easy to keep track of them on various pools etc. that way.

I know them by numbers, makes it easier for me.

Though all of them seem to have their own quirks and errors even though the OS was mirrored so it's almost as if each number had a personality.

Kind of reminds me of the TV show Dark Matter.  Smiley

First two were named Dufresne and Django.

As in Andy Dufresne from the Shawkshank Redemption - who used a rock hammer to mine a tunnel through his cell wall to freedom.
And Django - who just bossed his way to freedom.

I will free myself from the antiquated, cyclical bindings of 9-5 working life.

At the base of that wall, you'll find a rock that has no earthly business in a Maine hayfield. Piece of black, volcanic glass. There's something buried under it I want you to have.

My mining phones and tablets are named whatever random name Android decides to use (android-<some long hex digits>), my desktop is named after the motherboard that's inside it (DX79SI), and my external HDDs used for Burstcoin mining automatically get named some random sequence of hex digits when I format them for use. My Avalon 4, however, was named Chrissy after my friend who sold it to me.

I use cryptocurrency and solar power to help my best friend Naomi Wu... And I'm proud of it!

All mine are named after Cylons...

They all live up to their names
Caprica (Sexy Cylon)
Saul (Old Asshole that's apparently drunk most of the time)
Galen (the workhorse)
Athena (Hot Sleek and Sexy 4x 1070 1x 1080Ti)
and Leoben (The pain in the ass machine)
