God has no sex since He is not human or a reproductive organism. God is the force behind everything else and does not need to reproduce since He can create. For Christians they call God the Father since in the old times the society has treated women as having no authority thus they portray God as a male. Male are considered superior race in the old times thus God was treated as a male.

Well thats funny, but i think God is both Male and Female, so that he can understand human beings very well. Women are kinda to understand and it only take someone of their gender to know how it is being woman.

Does that even matter? The universe is bigger than we can imagine and there may be other species out there that doesn't have gender specifications like us so i don't think it's right to think that god does either or neither of the two. He could be anything depending on someone's belief. I just know that there is one that helped make everything the way they work today. Someone that made order out of chaos.

I think this is only an issue with Judeo-Christianity/Islam. Many insist their god is only referred to as male because those societies are patriarchal. I believe in Hinduism (well, as much as I think I know about it) it's really not that important since in theory the various gods and goddesses are aspects of the world spirit.
