LOL, that was a funny reply. Either god has a gender and made humans to be that way, or he is some sort of androgynous stuff and just gave humans genders to be able to reproduce on their own without him having to make more humans from scratch every time. Whether the woman was made as a standalone application or an expansion pack is debatable.

First, god gave us free will.
He didn't want to create robots who will absolutely follow his commands but being with free will, with great potential to be master of this world and perfect being, God's children.
God gave 3 blessings to human beings, to be fruitful (perfect human being), to multiply (have family) and to have dominion over creation.
Second, God didn't create wars, rape, evil things etc. We did.
Third, God created beautiful, great universe, nature, sky, sun....

Something like this is one of those topics that people need not concern themselves with, cause in the end it really doesn't matter weather god is either or. God is still going to hold the dame place in your life (if your religious) and it shouldn't effect your view of him/her in the least if there a male or female.

Who told you that spirits are genderless?. As far as I know, none of the spirits are devoid of gender. And regarding the reproductive capacities of god, he needs either a penis or vagina to create life. It is not possible to create life using just "hands".
