Bitcoin price is expensive now if you want to invest. Actually in this kind of investment it is risks because bitcoin price is volatile it may dump to what we didnt expect
You are missing a very important point here -- as long as you aren't selling your coins, you won't lose anything. So if you plan to take a long term position into Bitcoin, short term fluctuations shouldn't be any sort of concern to you. Fluctuations only matter to those that are trading, and that's basically it. People for once should stop looking at how short term fluctuations affect the market. The only thing that counts is the long term price.... |

I think its not a good idea if you are waiting what will be the result in august 1 since we do not know what exactly will happen after this month but always buying bitcoin is a good idea so better to buy now before the event done because anytime the price can be boost or the price can be drop but expect that the price can be increase more if you can hold it for a long time you can gain profit like other said you should be patience in order to earn profits..

I eould have to agree with both of you there dude. If you wait longer, there's a chance you're going to miss out on the opportunity of earning in the near future. Btc's price has been quite stable at it's current rate for more than a month or two and would've given people opportunity to buy at that rate. There are a lot of speculations about btc price skyrocketing in a month so why wait? |

It is not certain that BTC will drop after august 1st. But there is a good/high probability that it does. So if you can afford to wait, wait. Take the time until then to figure out a price to get in and don't get to greedy.

I am guessing that anytime is still good now. Red bloody days are not predictable but the trend is like slightly downward, If you compare this week end to last year then you may think current trend is still better. I am predicting that end of year will be much better |

After August 1 Some people will get into a panic after some changes in bitcoin and it will cause prices to decrease. You can buy Bitcoin in a dip. After that bitcoin price will rise. Note that what I said is just my prediction. Prediction in bitcoin world is impossible. It might be better to invest small part of your money now and then wait for 1 August and invest more. If I were you I would do this.
There is a lot of speculation and prediction about the changes would likely to happene on the incoming month specifically on August first. But the investment on bitcoin is not only depending on the specific date rather than the support of the community of bitcoin who actually uses bitcoin in a daily basis on transaction. Because that is the main part of development and if it will continue there is nothing to thing about. Just invest in bitcoin and always take the risk for you to have a better income in the future. |

I think you should wait after August 1st. I think that investing in at this moment is really too dangerous. Maybe btc price will decline then and of course you will lose money. But, if the btc price increase? If you want bitcoins. Buy bitcoins. After that you can go and have an ice cream :~) Or save that til january!
The latest prediction i found said "bitcoin goes to 5000 USD a piece within this year." Take that with a grain of salt!
And for heavens sake. Don't spend it all on altcoins. Same goes for ethereum etc. unless you want to waste a lot of money and time on a basicly worthless token.
PS: I see if if can get some Honda shares or whatever. Their cars can be driven. And their robot walks. That should bring some value to that asset.

Too.much misteries and rumors and not enough real and confirmed information regarding August 1 so I don't think we should be worried about it. At this stage this are still pure speculation. So if you have funds buy Bitcoins, if you need funds sell the coins and don't bother what will happen on August 1.

After August the price of bitcoin will increase faster because hen people will start to use it so it is better that you invest in bitcoin now as now the price of bitcoin is not much higher and after 1st august I know that the price of bitcoin will double up from which it is now. |

I think that the bitcoin price is now obviously overestimated and there will be a correction to the level of 1300 (if not lower). It is better to wait with investments.

To be safe, I would suggest to have parts of your money. You'll use one part to buy bitcoin right now and the other part after August 1. That way, you are sure that you have secured a bitcoin. Then another part to buy after August one when most people are in panic about the outcome of the event. I am predicting that most people will sell there bitcoin out of fear so the price will go down and another best time to buy.

WAIT.
There would be lot chaos after implementation of UASF if it gets implemented without SegWit2x and there would be a price dip (could be slightly long term) which can even go to 30-40%. If Segwit2x gets implemented before the implementation of UASF. Dip would still be there but would be for short term. In both the cases you will have a good opportunity to buy bitcoin.
At present invest in any top 5 altcoin. They would definitely rise in August because of devaluation of bitcoin. Earn some profit from there and then buy bitcoin in August at lower price.
