Playing with DCRI settings for ETH only mining. Shifting it from 30 to 5 I get peak hash rate, but noticed that the cards sometimes drop 5 mh/s on each cycle. I have to get the DCRI back up to 30 and it levels out.

I am using power-save BIOS on 470 cards. Wondering if the under powering is causing them to skip a beat?

Anyone have any experience with that?

Because claymore says to for ASM mining. And there is an increase in hashpower. Two good reasons I think Smiley

From his guide:
-asm   (AMD cards only) enables assembler GPU kernels. In this mode some tuning is required even in ETH-only mode, use "-dcri" option or or "+/-" keys in runtime to set best speed.

Well, I set the DCRI back to 30 and the same thing is happened. Each card will randomly jump from 26 to 20 mhs. And last night the whole rig crash. Thanks for taking a look.
