I just leased 35 Waves (value circa $175) for a week and was rewarded with 0.15 Waves (75c).

If I leased 3500 Waves ($17500) for a week would I see a return of 15 Waves ($75) a week = 720 Waves $3600 a year?

Depends on which leasing node you have leased your waves tokens to. The are many- to name a few- wavesmode, wavescommunitynode, wavespool, wavesgo, Indowavesnode etc. You can check the entire list over here - http://wavescommunity.com/leasing/
In my experice, wavesgo gives the best returns. Happy Leasing!

Thanks for the response.

Why is there demand for leasing, what do people lease Waves for?
