I myself am a huge One Piece fan, but I would not say One Piece is the best anime ever. Now, I love the story arcs and the characters tremendously – in terms of that, One Piece, in my opinion, is definitely my favorite. However, I really do not like the animation of the series nowadays. Anime and manga tell basically the same story, and the biggest different would be that in anime, everything is animated. I know right, what a surprise! So, in anime, one of the biggest thing I look for is the art quality and animation quality. With One Piece, it seems like Toei Animation has….slacked off.

Even though this is highly subjective question. I can safely say that One Piece is not the best anime ever. Now, one can argue that One Piece is the best for its genre of anime, but I would not even argue that.

One piece is the only anime till now, and I've watched a lot! , that can and will make you shed tears of joy and sadness. When you watch one piece you get a sense of adventure that no other manga/anime delivers quite as well.
