I think yes, for 2 reasons: 1) the announcement itself is a kind of pump; announcing the pump creates hype, thus already pumping value of coin 2) once the actual pump takes place, people recognize it for what it is, and hasten to buy to take advantage of it, making it even more effective (since they recognize vast amounts will be bought) |
