Buy more bitcoin or wait for August 1st?

Well if you have funds then you should go buy bitcoin and don't wait for Aug 1. We don' know what will happen to the price of bitcoin after Aug 1. But I generally believed that we are going to push the price of bitcoin to new levels. Buy now and just hold on it. Its gonna be a win-win situation for all of us come Aug 1.

If I have money now I will buy bitcoin and Wait August 1st to know what is the effect of it. And If in August 1st the bitcoin price will dump then I will hold the bitcoin i bought and wait that bitcoin will pump that's it. Just buy and hold if the bitcoin price will dump but If the price will pump then sell if you contented to your profit. No money will lose if you invest in bitcoin, just don't sell in loss price.

Yes. Buy and Hold. Nor Bitcoin prices, Ethereum prices are dropping like crazy. You just buy and hold Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. August 1st effect is already starting right now, and if no something changing the core of bitcoin happens at the time I don't expect a big change in the price as well, which is fluctuating generally up and down.

if you wait... you have a small chance that the price might go down, is this (bird in the bush) "saving" worth the risk of the price going up?

I sold everything I had in the anticipation of August 1st. I'm still thinking if I should get in before, especially with the news that Segwit is signaled by the majority. I really just don't know what to do but I'd rather wait and if I'm going to lose money by sitting on the fence, I'll just cross it off as "insurance" and move on.

If there would be a split, there would certainly be a drop in price so maybe a good opportunity to pick some more up rather than doing it now. We can not be able to see what is going to happen especially to the price of bitcoin once the month of august have started, there may be a certain drop but most people seeing a possibility that there will be a certain jump on that month . Its your choice whether to buy now or wait until august 1 to buy, but probably waiting for that day might lose you an opportunity if ever the price gets higher .

i do not tempting to buy bitcoin for now and i decide to stick to my current bitcoin untill through august 1 because i'm worry about that date and there is no exact news regarding bitcoin price after through that date so to avoid unpredictable situations i had only hold my current bitcoin and wait next move to see the update

Ah, if only we could foresee what s going to happen in two months, we d all be millionaires. All this is just speculation.

I think we ll have flawless implementation of SegWit2x and once this happens, the price will break all records. In the period before this event, speculators will try to dump the price as much as possible to fill their bags. However, this is just my personal speculation.

This is exactly what is happening now in my opinion. The price of BTC dropped from $2,700+ to $2,300+ in less than 3 days.

So, OP, if you want to buy some BTC the time is now. Those who want to buy a lot of BTC cheap, the speculators mentioned by crazyivan, have done a favor for you.

Why you are so sure? It can drop easily, I think in this case it is just better to wait until August and then try to buy bitcoins, because after this bitcoin will go up deffinetly.

With the current price drop if we have a lot of money we can use it by buying more bitcoins than we have to wait for the uncertain of the future then use this opportunity by investing some of the money we have into bitcoin.
