I can't say it's impossible since we cannot predict what the next movement of the price is but as we can see from the past few weeks the price is appearing to be lightly stable on its current price that we can only see a very small changes, I don't think that it will be back to $1000 as it is not to be expected as well . I believe that within a few months bitcoin will hit the value that most of us are hoping and waiting for .

Going to $1000 per Bitcoin is so much drop. We will not go there because of the demand of Bitcoin currently can sustain a price at $2000 if a major drop occurs. Bitcoin is very volatile and seeing these drops are not so surprising at all. If you are in a major loss today, wait for some weeks or months and your loss will become a profit.

I don't think it will be back to 1000 dollars but anything can happen in the cryptocurrencies world. Let us remember that the price of bitcoin was even 160 dollars in the beginning of the year 2015 if I remember correctly, and then it started only going up after that huge crash. In the long run I say keep your bitcoins, it would be a big error if you sell them to someone else because you think bitcoin is losing value. Not intentionally you may make that person rich and curse yourself after a few years when price of bitcoin goes up a lot.

It would be best to let this storm and confusion settle down before making a decision.  Do not let your emotion control you.  There had been several cases that is like yours and making hasty decision about it simply makes more loses.  We all know that Bitcoin is capable of rebounding in terms of price dip.  And we are all aware that there are lots of people aiming to get your bitcoin stash in the cheapest possible price so they will do anything including playing dirty (spreading FUD) to shake people into selling their bitcoin stash.  We have this long awaited  solution to scaling being activated, so I guess after all is clear bitcoin price will definitely increase.

but I do not think that bitcoin price is decreasing from 2000$ any more. it will be trading round about 2000$ and after some time it gong to shoot up again. and this time will cross 4000$ may be in next few months its price will be trading above 4000$ level.

I would say you should just wait more. The prices are probably temporary and it can go back up in the next few weeks like it always does. So I think you should not sell yet.

About the prices going back to $1,000, I don't think this is a huge possibility. Historically this has happened, but that's because back then the bitcoin market is really fragile and a single problem that can cause people to drop their holdings, like the mt. gox hack, made the whole market blow up.

So you just accepted bitcoin payment without an idea about volatility? Then you are that kind of person that only knows price increase should only happened in bitcoin price which is impossible.

And now you are worried. Before entering on any system, be sure to know first the risk associated with it. Bitcoin price is not designed to just increase it's price continously.

Dropped from $3000 is another story, it was a correction because bitcoin in bull run at that time but its price already stable at $2500 for a week.
it just decline as much $100 and seems normal for bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies due to traders want to cash out their profits before they lose this chance. People will buy back again after certain point of price, and we will see how fast bitcoin could grow before August 1st.
I suggest to hold your bitcoin and wait for 2 weeks later if you can, as bitcoin price will recover and surpass $2500 again. In August, bitcoin should reach $3000 due to blocksize problem finally be solved, hopefully.

It just dump yesterday from $2700 to $2300. What are saying that there are no price fall? And bitcoin having a price of $1000K is so exaggerated that is like $1M,and bitcoin needs century for that price. Bitcoin will be just sitting on $2000 even the month of August is closing, if bitcoin will be going back to $1000, it will just shoot back to $2000 because people will just take that price to buy another coins.
