TL;DR, Snapshot price is determined in USD but will be paid through Ethereum which the rate will be determined at 30 July but taking a "snapshot" of the ETH price.

I'm interested whne people can really use and trade the snapshot in exchange(s) and seems that it will happen in August and I would recommend Liqui as other are a bit slower than this.

I'm sending a PM with my translation service if that language gets accepts.

We felt this would be the fairest way to operate as it allow users to receive what they invested in terms of percentage to others. If we stamped Snap tokens to Ethereum and only raised half the the funding target then a large amount of Snap tokens would be left on the table. We decided that with real regulation and development expenses it would be easier to manage our capital in Fiat. Funding will be transferred to USD at the end of the ICO, Its not our job to hold onto Ethereum to speculate. We have use cases for the funding and intend to leverage it.

That's correct,
 Snap token integration to exchanges is set for mid august. We have the required capital to push our token onto some of the larger alt coin exchanges so its going to be an exciting few months once trading starts.

Hi Jorenpo,

Yes the Snapshot coins or 'Snap tokens' are connected with the Snapshot application. Snap tokens are required to pay for certain services we offer inside the app and also represent 35% of Snapshots yearly  revenue, so the tokens are a necessary part of the system.

We use a separate blockchain for record keeping but those do not serve as a store of value.

That's a good question. Yes, we looked at all the options available to us and discussed them at length. But at the end of the day we agreed that we believe in Ethereum's development, progress and ability to bridge cryptocurrency into the general market most.


We feel that currently Ethereum has better usability. Considering we are going to be hitting market soon (in a field where being seamless is important)
we chose accordingly.

Simply because, this one actually has a chance for any user to earn money through their snapshots.
Also, being with blockchain tech makes anyones photos become secure and safe from piracy and getting lost forever.
I sure hope nothing but success to this project and more people would take a look at the features of snapshot and what benefits they'll get once they use it.

Hi Julerz12,

The alpha version of the Snapshot app with be deployed at the end of the ICO, August 10th. This is because the core of the app revolves around Snap tokens and wouldn't function as intended without tokens held by us for the leader boards.

 The application will be available for both Android and iOS devices. Snapshot will be available for windows, sometime during Q1 2018.
