Lol.  Campaign is dead.  Tf is retired living off yall's bitcoins.  But the thread keeps on going...
Well, to be fair, it seems it has become more of a discussion thread about the whole fiasco, similar to the ones in the Service Announcements and Service Discussion forums. Surely, those threads aren't talking about using inputs and CL anytime soon.

The thread isn't about the campaign...
Also, i'm not so sure if he'll be retiring off of our bitcoins, as he has been doxed already. It could potentially ruin his life, also.

There's almost no way to tell apart a real, legitimate email, from a forged one. The hacker could have the password for all we know. Nothing can really be trusted in such a situation. An ID is the only failsafe way of discouraging the hacker from trying to forge an email.
And what exactly is the ID proving? The hacker could also send a bunch of fake IDs, how would TF know?
He doesn't know who we are in RL.

Your point doesn't stand the slightest bit.

I said it's a failsafe way of DISCOURAGING, not of completely overcoming the hackers.

exactly. so that was a roundabout way of saying that TF's bunk ID policy accomplishes nothing, right? except, of course, to discourage his own creditors from collecting from him. so shady.....

There hasn't been any news lately. Seems TF is still active on the forum but hiding away.

On a mission to make Bitcointalk.org Marketplace a safer place to Buy/Sell/Trade

It seems that way. He's not facing up to the community and has been involved in pretty shady things before. Asking for identification just about did it for me. That was the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

I know, I haven't been able to get over that. It proves nothing, and only makes sense to use information that inputs.io had on file, but was not compromised. He was clearly trying to scare people off from collecting money owed to them. It's looking real bad. I really feel for these CoinLenders creditors....

And destroying websites with false copyright claims. And he's also busy gambling with your money.
Honestly, if i had 1.5 million dollars i would probably be spending a lot of time thinking what i'd do with all of it, too...

He took down your website because you were using a modified version of his code. He didn't make the code open source, he only allowed the usage, not modification. Besides check the note at http://glados.cc/myfaucet/. Even though he lost the BTC of so many members around here which is not cool Angry, but he still has full rights to decide whether he lets you modify it in one or another way or whether he doesn't.

TradeFortress my month ended with the 16th So new period starts today same postcount bracket 201-400 0,08 btc per month.
Can you confirm when the 0,08 btc for the past month will be sent out ?
13QXQNqeG8TF4TWd4aSvxE2n9PF5VGGRXq

You can also of course send any balance i had at inputs.io to the same adress, as the site hasent been possible to log into for a while i cant say how much it was, could be just dust, could be more there...

TF is there a single thread where you post info on whats happened and is going on so people can read up about it ?
As far as i understand there should be no reason why people having the signature add should be effected in any way of this.
Same thing with people having funds in CL as CL had no reason to keep any funds in inputs.io, so CL balance holders shoulden't have lost any funds because of what happened.
How is the situation for people with balances in inputs.io and what will the actions from TF be there and to what degree will TF cover losses that may have happened there ?

As far as i understand TF also is having 640+ btc locked up at just-dice that he cant touch just to garateed peoples funds in case any issue would arrise with the inputs.io thing.

He tried that, but he only had 1000 BTC to cover the 4000 BTC which was lost.

That is a huge lost. Only reasonable thing to do is to get back that 1000 BTC to ppl. It is even to 25% of their investment

...
It's really sad that it happened, but people shouldn't be so stupid to store their 'savings' in an online wallet.
I wouldn't call people stupid just because of that... The whole point of inputs.io was SECURITY. Everything about inputs.io revolved around it's security; Second of all, TF said he would cover any loss up to 40 BTC if something would go wrong. Turns out he lied to us about that, too...
He lied about the security, and lied about being able to cover any loss up to 40 BTC.
People assumed it was safe. They weren't stupid, they have just been f*cked by the owner of the website itself.

I think that 40 BTC was for individual issues, not a site wide hack. I would still call someone stupid for storing multiple BTC's on an online wallet, no matter how safe they claim it is. People should understand that offline wallets are savings accounts and online wallets are banking accounts. You should only use an online wallet for small transactions.

i agree with you,  i would never keep any of my coins on online wallet it is stupid thing to do
