Can Bitcoin End World Poverty?

I don't believe world poverty can be ended until we abandon the capitalist mindset. The whole point of capitalism is that there are poor people. Bitcoin is just a value distribution system. It is a good system but still follows the capitalist mindset. If you want to end world poverty you need to adopt some sort of forced socialist system where wealth is redistributed to an extreme degree.

I think it cannot end the world poverty but can help in decreasing it. and that is what bitcoin is already doing that. because it is providing opportunities that if they have the ability they can earn a good amount of bitcoin, they need a little investment and some experience in trading and with regular study habits and they have good opportunity to make money from bitcoin and can even get more money that they cannot even expect from bitcoin.

but i think with bitcoin and with internet connection in every where, people can trying to make money with bitcoin and i think from this, bitcoin can help people to search a work and gets paid with bitcoin so they can start to sell their bitcoin to live. i think it could help many people that seek a job in offline if internet connection is available in their city so they can trying to earn bitcoin from many ways.

Bitcoin is not a magic wand which will end world poverty. It simply doesn't have the power to end such a massive thing. Also bitcoin is not a payment system anymore. We have moved to a different goal long back, when the confirmation time increased and transaction fees hiked. These confirmation time and transaction fees is going to be increased again and again. So we will move from the initial goal further.

Bitcoin has now purely became an investment asset. IT can provide a huge return which any other conventional investment will never be able to offer ever. So I take bitcoin purely as an investment and a trading asset. I earn profit  and keep it for the future.

Yes, I agree that bitcoin is not a magic wand that ends poverty with one click.  Bitcon may reduce the world's poverty due to the equal opportunity it provides to everyone.  It also educate people how bitcoin turns into a good investment that they can use for future plans  but bitcoin alone cannot end poverty at all.  Poverty is just a result of economic tendencies such as unemployment, lack of knowledge and skills, corruptions and crimes, drugs, calamities, and laziness.  Through bitcoin, numbers of unemployment who has the skills and knowledge about it might be lessen, and that is a very good economic contribution of bitcoin in the society but how about the other economic tendencies like drugs and laziness? I guess, bitcoin cannot resolve it because it involves personal choice and decision. With that reason, bitcoin alone is not the solution to end poverty.

I do not think Bitcoin can end the world poverty.  One of the reason is that the distribution of bitcoin is just like the distribution of wealth.  It is distributed unevenly.  Those who have lots of money can get more bitcoin than those who have less.  Another thing is, even though there are lots of opportunities of earning in bitcoin, only the skilled and knowledgeable on how to take advantage of this opportunities are reaping the reward, and most of the world population is unaware of this opportunities.  Besides those who have lots of bitcoin will never distribute their stash to those people who are in need without them getting profit from it.  So the idea of Bitcoin ending the world poverty is just a fallacy.

Of course it can't. No currency can.
This whole discussion is pointless, people are poor not because of an unstable currency. They are poor because not everybody can be rich. If it was that easy and poor people got $1 million each they'd remain poor. Only the level of poverty would increase along with prices of everything around us.

i am not sure about this but if every people in the world is trying to join in bitcoin world and they want to do some work to earn bitcoin, i think bitcoin can end world poverty. the only problem that i can think is not every country have good internet connection so its the one thing that every government need to solve because bitcoin is related with internet connection so people can used bitcoin with safe and no need to worried to thinking that they can not connect with internet.

Bitcoin can’t be the only one to end world’s poverty but no doubt it can play it role in bringing up the majority of poor people to turn time for them. Bitcoin is already doing well in playing it part to financially support the community by adopting it.

Mankind pretends that struggles with poverty, and in fact, each thinks only of himself. Poor people choose their own way and it suits them. They have no obligations to society, so why do companies need to be obligations to them?

Of course solving povertry wouls take long time. However, I don't see any reason why bitcoin can't make it happen since it ooffers platform which is significant for poor people. All they have to do for them to be more productive is knowledge, skills, and patience.

Bitcoin continues to grow in value, making people very rich. If everyone in the world buys Bitcoin, the value will rise, and everyone will be rich!
Why are people sticking to the corrupt creation that is fiat currency that is affected by government corruption when the whole world could be rich if everyone just bought Bitcoin?

If everyone in the world buy Bitcoin there are still people that lose out in one way or another. It would have to be a very organized and specific means of getting everyone in the world buying Bitcoin for some pipe dream like that to actually work out. Someone selling means that someone loses Bitcoin while someone else buys it, so there would have to be an organization directing the "distribution" for it to work, otherwise there simply would not be enough Bitcoin as people would buy Bitcoin rapidly early on and then it would taper off as the value goes up and it becomes harder to acquire Bitcoin.

OK, here is my delusional plan how Bitcoin could end World Poverty (TM).

Stage 1: First provide a scaling solution (sidechains, LN, whatever) suitable to serve hundreds of millions of users, at least. Without that, nothing will be possible.
Stage 2: Identify essential services that are missing in poor countries and can be out-sourced via the Internet (some ideas: consulting work, journalism, lawyers, education on distance, medicine on distance). It's important to choose important services that solve real problems, not useless "services" (like HYIPs or online gambling).
Stage 3: Create companies that provide these services, paid in Bitcoin. Use crowdfunding platforms or ICOs to finance the necessary infrastructure. 90% or more of the jobs should be operated by the local population of the poor countries you want to benefit ("Base of the Pyramid" method).
Stage 4: Your companies will create genuine wealth - not only because they provide important services but also because you create jobs for the local population. Bitcoin helps greatly because it minimizes transaction costs and creates the possibility to operate in multiple countries - also those with "unbanked" populations - providing one single payment platform.

The only "problem" is that this approach works only in places where an acceptable internet connection exists. So it would mostly improve life of the "urban poor" and not so much of those living in e.g. the African countryside.

Definitely true though bitcoin can affect economic issue. Poverty will just be ended if there is no currption and people has a will, otherwise no matter what help was given, nothing will happen.
