I don't see how bitcoin is helping people in Africa getting food or avoiding wars.

Yes. Bitcoim has nothing to do with the poverty of a specific person because if the poberty of a people gone or overcome it is depend on him on how he handle his life and how he manage their money. Many people today are having trouble with their money because of shortage but they can't earn bitcoin because they do not have any gadgets to use or technology that can earn bitcoin.

I think it can help to end poverty even in simple way like bitcoin can be used by the other persons to held some reach out programs that giving some people opportunities to establish a business and of course held some seminars or talks about bitcoin so that they can help others to earn an extra income for their family.

I honestly think that it has nothing to do such understanding. Bitcoin is not a magic stick to do something in that way. It is just another innovation like a computer, internet etc which is bringing the change in our life. Bitcoin has some monetary value and since Bitcoin is widely accepted all over the world, we can leverage that spread to utilize maximum capacity of that monetary value. This will help us to create more opportunities for everyone and that will help to destroy poverty.

It's true that bitcoin already helped a lot of people reach their dreams to become rich but it's not even close in solving world poverty. Poverty is a global problem and it's way to big for bitcoin to solve it. I think that poverty is really hard to solve because not all people are willing to share what they have or even open opportunities for other people.

I think cant,because many people dont know about economy especialy in poor nations in Afrika or some states in South America.The goverment can work to education and inform people about bitcoin and his benefits,and on this way only.Problem is that many people is dont know what bitcoin is,if anyone try can expect hard work.

I don't think it can because if we are stating that the world will be free from poverty with the help of bitcoin the we are pertaining to each and everyone of us. We all know that not everyone knows how to use laptop, phone or computers which makes it impossible to earn in bitcoin. Not everyone also have their own internet connection. Based on what I'm currently witnessing, I can say that yes, it can end the world povery but it will still take up a long time before it will happen with the total of mankind free from poverty. Bitcoin itself can not make the set the world free from poverty, it is us who writes down our fate whether we die poor or we die rich. Bitcoin will not end world poverty because most people who invest in it will be late so they will not get big return on their investment compared to the early adopters like us!

Wouldn't it be great if bitcoin can actually do that right? Ending poverty in the hands of regular people like us. Though unfortunately it will take more than that to end poverty. Bitcoin may help people financially in more ways than one but general poverty is more than nust getting people money to spend. This issue is too big and broad for btc.

Of course this problem will be very large if it is generalized to bitcoin. Certainly bitcoin will not likely have the power to end poverty in the world. While poverty is accomplished by many things such as government policy, the provision of science and resources, extensive employment, and poverty has been around since the start of time right ?

If we are talking about the world, I think it wlll take a long time before bicoin's domination is totally spread everywhere. We know bitcoin is indeed life changer and it is possible for someone to escape poverty with the help of bitcoin. We don't know for sure if bitcoin will be one of the factors that can end world poverty because poverty has many root causes and if bitcoin will only solve some of the financial problems of people in poor countries then we are still far from solving world poverty. Yes it may be easy for some of the underprivileged people to access bitcoin but then we cannot deny the fact that there are still so many people in the world who don't even have the basic tools to access bitcoin specifically electricity, gadget and internet.

What the cryptocurrency users can do now to somehow help improve the economy of their country is to build business to help people have jobs and then maybe some of them will be able to improve their status in life and be above the poverty line which is a small step to end the world poverty.

It is true, but it is sometimes not well organized. Because sometimes the poor always can not tackle the money well, they are not savvy in saving and that's where the problems lie in their possession. It also makes them fall into poverty

Poverty cant comes to an end but yes Bitcoin is doing so great to make it less and less. A huge number of people get jobs from bitcoins, it is prevailing over the international markets and just throwing a pool of opportunities. Hundreds and thousands of people have invested and they are getting much better causing a strong removal in unemployment.

No, I think the idea itself is pretty much ridiculous. No offense, but I don't see how bitcoin can put an end to such a major issue as world poverty. It's more of an investment opportunity than a currency. And it will always be too costly to invest in for very large groups of people that are hardcore poor.

I think you are missing the point. Like Bill gates said, Blockchain technology showed us how cheap it can be, there are millions of middle man in every single industry, those guys adding up the cost of almost everything. With Blockchain technoloy we dont need middle mans anymore, there are smartcontracts, there are coins which transfer the value faster and cheaper than fiat currency etc. That is why Blockchain will reduce the cost of almost everything, no more need of middleman. And there are more things will come, we cant even imagine right now. Industrial age is over my friend

Well you are right in your own prospective but trust me I saw many people who earn a lot through bitcoin and invest so much on social services for poor people, you can also check here on this forum, many people make schools for poor children and make child homes for poor children from their biotin earnings, and many of then start earning.
