it seems locked,

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.0

it is a useful topic for speculation,

why is locked  i cant understand

Bitcoin is the path to lambo. Lambo leads to women. Women lead to marriage. Marriage leads to...suffering.
Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

it got locked because of altcoin shit.

man, those alts. first they take away the minds of so many blind followers and get-rich-quick suckers, then they take away bitcoin "market dominance" and NOW THEY TAKE MY BELOVED WALL OBSERVER THREAD???!?!

I only know one thing that those alts will never take: my btc.

(how ironic that one of the last posts of this thread is me posting about eth.  Tongue)

I must have killed it with my posted vitriol about ETH.

I guess it's not allowed to talk bad about altcoins in a Bitcoin sub forum, but perfectly ok to talk bad about Bitcoin on a Bitcoin sub forum /s  Roll Eyes

Original Wall Observer is the best thread on the entire forum, shame if they don't open it up.

Hear hear.

It could get a little woolly at times but it was the best we had for open discussion and casual conversation.

It was the first place many of us went for news and gossip.

And now it's gone? Pity.

WTF!? Where are we gonna talk about shitcoins now?

No, really, I want the wall observer back! That single thread is probably the best of the entire forum.

Mods be like:

But the forum ain't burned down yet - they can still reverse their bungle.

Anyone with a campaign ad in their signature -- for an organization with which they are not otherwise affiliated -- is automatically deducted credibility points.

I've been convicted of heresy. Convicted by a mere known extortionist. Read my Trust for details.
