Only have about 60 YAC, though I'd be willing to sell at that price.  Willing to send first, just let me know.

Hi guys,

I've just read there were arguments regarding who's scammer and who's not and some wanted me to act as a "escrow service".

It's a pleasure for me to help as always but don't want to do it just for a tip. It has to be for a % that everyone agrees is a fair fee.

My ethics is very straight and as you could see earlier on this thread (and other threads too) a user from China have sent me 10,000 YACs by mistake (he wanted to send it to someone else) and I retruned it as soon as I checked it. I have to admit I got depressed when he claimed it because I thought it was some YAC millionaires that was annonymously tipping me haha Smiley But yes I have a very straight concept of making my money which is very far from taking what's not mine.

But again this will take me more time and carefulness and I don't want to do it for a tip (if I'm lucky). So we agree on reasonable terms and I'll be very happy to help whoever want to escrow and help YAC community to have a safer trading environment.

Thanks guys for the trust!

Peace please peace Smiley

By the way guys this will have a cost for me because if for some reason I'm stolen and lose someone's money while it's being escrowed I'll have to put my own money. This is obviously very unlikely to happen but if it does the cost will be mine.

No offense but you joined this forum April 30th 2013 and posted 237 times already (little unsettling), including this exchange for which I thank you.
However, when it comes to money i would like a user with at least 1 year membership if I were to use him/her as escrow.

Cheers

I'm contemplating an automated exchange and have one fundamental question. I see various exchanges using varying amount of confirms, bter uses 4, btc-e and clients use 6 confirms. Have people had experiences with the transaction getting lost with < 4 confirms? How big of a risk that is at all?

never had any "lost" transactions. I always trade after 1 confirmation. Though 3 or more just to make sure is quite ok i guess

Unlikely for individual person to person small trades. But if I were running an automated platform, id use 6 confirmations for BTC and more for faster currencies.

I think 51% attack is easier for alt coins...

Further reading: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Double-spending

What id like to see... is an automated trade platform, ideally without requiring a "trusted" party in between.... Was reading up on https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Contracts earlier today, fascinating stuff.... Perhaps some brilliant crypto person can come up with a new coin. Trade coin or Exchange Coin whose sole purpose is to automagically facilitate p2p trades for altcoins... and mining earning could be the trade fees... this stuff is way over my pay grade.

It's not offense at all. All I can offer as a history is this Yuri who've sent me 9944.44 by mistake and I returned (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=201328.0).

If anyone trust me and want's to use me as a escrow is fine with me as far as we agree a reasonable fee for that.
