[Russia] Burger King to accept Bitcoin this summer!

Why just Russia ,since Burger King is a global brand why dont they do that all over the world,they are yet to find a solution on how to charge people with bitcoin,either way it is a good move and lets have them accept bitcoin all over the world.

The plan is really interesting and they are still looking for developers to incorporate a good software to accept bitcoin  ,i think they just released the news too soon,it is good to see that Russia is accepting bitcoin and as OP said i would like to see other international brands starts accepting bitcoin world wide.

This is huge information since most people in Russia still have a not so great view of bitcoin, maybe this will be the step towards Russia becoming more accepting of cryptocurrencies. The part where they are looking for an IT guy to help them integrate bitcoin sounds promising and this could lead to other merchants accepting bitcoin like Macdonalds and other fast food restaurants may follow suit.

Cyprotucurrencies may be going mainstream, let us keep praying.

A while ago, we're having a snack time at Burger King (just a burger+fries combo) and I just wonder how will customers react if they will noticed that Im paying with my bitcoin. The method surely will be thru swiping the qr code.

More acceptance from every corner of the world, useful to pay food is necessary to make it more mainstream as a digital currency obviously. And what interesting is, "Burger King has also begun the hunt for an IT professional able to implement the relevant software." > bitcoin create profits and more employment opportunity or some chances to make money such as IT professional to write codes for burger king. I feel that the people spending Bitcoin on things like food and other things that they don’t really need when they have fiat to get what they want will cause them to lose out on the price increase. Bitcoin shouldn’t get spent so easily, I hope that Burger King at least makes an attempt to place their coins somewhere so they won’t dump it in one go.

This is great if they will accept bitcoin this summer but for me, it is not worth it to use our bitcoin to buy burgers or any meal at burger king unless the fees will be lowered down to 20k-50k satoshi again because if we will buy foods from them and paying at least 2 USD fee worth of bitcoin then it is not worth it for me because it is like wasting money but if you are like buying the whole menu them it is good to use bitcoin.

The fees will be lowered once segwit gets adopted and its looking like that will be soon.

We're not sure about it because activating segwit means 100% assurance that it will become a successful project because something can really happen and we all know that. Segwit only added more size to the blocks and it is not sure that the fees will be lowered because of that because i think that segwit will become just like a temporary solution because soon the blocks will need more space because of the demands that are keep in coming.
