Stellar is distributing 16 billion Lumens (Stellar's native currency, also known as XLM) to Bitcoin holders. On June 26, 2017, Stellar took a snapshot of the Bitcoin blockchain at block #472889, and gave every address a certain amount of XLM. You would get 974.957961 XLM for every 1 BTC that you hold, worth roughly 0.011BTC. Those Bitcoin holders can claim their Stellar at this page if they wish. 1 Stellar is currently worth around 1000 satoshi.

You can claim them yourself, get a stellar wallet and sell them/keep them if you'd like, or go through me. I will be claiming the Lumens for you, and selling them. (similar to what LoyceV is doing with Byteball)

- 80% of the Lumens will be sold, and Bitcoin given to you.
- 10% of the Lumens will be sold, and Bitcoin kept by me.
- 10% of the Lumens won't be sold and kept by me.

Basically, you will get 80% of whatever the whole amount of Lumens would be sold for. If your entire Lumen claim would be sold for 0.01BTC, you would get 0.008BTC.

How do I join?

To join, all you have to do is sign the following message from the address(es) that held Bitcoin at block 472889 with the following text, and PM me the signature as well as the address.

Code:
Stellar.org Bitcoin Giveaway Round 2: GABJKQAX22FEOXTQ5GDEDRZOIT6U4QJNDJWQUDOPRR64HWVZZSVCNXJD

When will I get paid?

You will get paid within a few days. I will be trying to send the BTC out in batches to save on tx fees (which will be covered by me). Maximum time you will have to wait would be 1 week.

Is there a minimum?

Yes. The minimum I will do is 0.001BTC worth of Stellar (limit is roughly at 0.1BTC on your address), as transaction fees would end up costing a lot if I were to send them to you.

Why don't I just claim the Stellar myself and get the full amount?
You can! This service is more for those that don't want to bother with the hassle of claiming them, downloading the wallet, figuring out how some things work, and selling them.

* The exact value of what you get varies, as it is based on the exchange rate of Lumens at the time that I sell.

Suppose someone sends me a btc right now then will this work or I should have had it by 9th of july ? If it is going to work then I will ask for a btc from friends. I saw many similar threads , in one of which the op tried to ask for byteball verification process. You have created a self moderated topic for this. I am thinking for the reason behind this.

Pretty cool idea you came up with here, Dark! This would also help alleviate the concerns many have with linking their Facebook account to Stellar for the claim.

You needed to have that balance as of block 472889, so getting BTC from friends won't help. Self Moderated mostly to delete posts made just for signature farming.

Got it. I'm thinking of waiting a bit before selling, as I feel it will go up again. (was at 969 satoshi last night, up to a bit over 1k satoshis today)

I'm using coinbase, can I?

Possibly yes, and possibly no. Coinbase moves your coins out of your address sometimes, so it might not work. Maybe send me the addresses you can sign from and I can see if it can work.

Is this service still working? I own a bitcoin, I hope I can make some money from this service. Signing a message is easy, great.

Yes, still running.

so this is some new kind of btc waller website ?

No, Stellar is an altcoin.

I have my bitcoin on spectrocoin, can you explain how to do this step, cuz i don't understand it.

Spectrocoin doesn't let people sign messages, so you can't participate unfortunately.

Where did you get July 9 from? Anyway, you can participate any time until I close it, which will likely be on August 28th.

Stellar Lumens were sold at 1038 satoshis each. A total of 0.1065872BTC was gotten to be distributed (after exchange fees and the BTC I kept).

Payments to those who signed a message so far have been sent. tx: https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/25b25baeadccbc48286f147afbf53d47dad56fe490d898520e1d173a6a7da1bc

Service is still open.

No. You must have had the Bitcoin in your address at bitcoin block 472889, so you can't buy BTC and get free Stellar.

DO NOT Trade with this account - it is less secure than my normal account
For any inquires, I'd prefer if you PMed my normal account (DarkStar_) for a faster response.

Wrong place to ask that and how did you get mail from Stellar when they don't even ask for an email or store any data about you?

i am interested

Sign the messages and than PM me the address and signatures.

Stellar has finally recovered from a huge drop and is now near 900 satoshis again (reached < 700 satoshis, so I decided to wait). Stellar was sold @ 878 satoshis each, netting 0.01994BTC. I'll be distributing the BTC tomorrow.
