ORGINAL POST:
-----------------------------

Smiley Hi all!
I'm new in this crypto-world and still get lost in so many concepts, words, charts, coins...
I´d like to ask you:
  -  Is there any website / book / online resource that I can study to learn?  Huh

I'd like to be able to analyze the market and be able to make informed decisions about new investments.
At the moment I'm already using youtube, bitcointalk, google and telegram to learn, but more specific resources would be VERY USEFUL!
Thanks a million in advance, guys  Grin
I just want to be part of the community while we all make nice profits

By reading your posts, I think what you are looking for is book about stock analysis*. If you are using Bitcoin/altcoins as just stocks, I recommend you to first study about stock marketing and then invest. Even understanding basics maybe time consuming, but if stock marketing is worth for you, then time spent will be worth too! Don't go for immediate gains just to loose everything later. Once you have studied stock marketing, next thing is to know which cryptocurrency should you invest. Altcoins value can be calculated by seeing who's behind it and what it offers. Compare stocks/altcoins to a product and when you buy a product, you will consider
  • what is it?
  • why buy it?
  • what does it offer?
  • what makes it better than its contemporaries?
  • how and where to buy it?
  • who's behind it?
  • easy and cheap way to buy it.

Take your time and decide which to invest *carefully*. TBH, I am not an expert in stock marketing. So I can only answer some basic questions.

Hi! welcome to the crypto world. Anyway, I know a site that has a good size of compilation of guides.

Link: http://www.coindesk.com/information/

from that site you can learn about general bitcoin knowledge (how transactions work, mining, legalities, the blockchain, all those stuff). I suggest you go through all those stuff first before going into trading/markets. The basics are VERY necessary.

Also, if you like watching instead, look up crypt0 on youtube, link: https://www.youtube.com/user/obham001 ; videos might be long, yes, but they have very good insight. Easily one of the best crypto youtubers in my opinion.

Andreas Antonopoulos' Bitcoin book:

You can buy it or read for free. I don't know if there's an English PDF format of it, but it can be read here at least: https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook/blob/develop/ch01.asciidoc

Translations in PDF format: https://www.bitcoinbook.info/translations-of-mastering-bitcoin/

In addition to this, Bitcoin Wiki is a great source of basic and deep knowledge: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Main_Page

That site is a news site for cryptocurrency even though it might give some source of knowledge, It is still useless once newbie read this without a proper basic orientation about bitcoin. Bitcoin wiki is the best guide for a newbie for starting up on bitcoin.  Smiley

This is a great help. Extra efforts are needed though in reading and understanding. Another effort should also be devoted to Google for some terms, ideas, and explanations that remain confusing and hazy. But I wonder why there are so few who post here?

If beginners find more, you should also share them and make this a little wiki  Wink

You can now buy Ethereum and Litecoin much cheaper on the Waves platform. They just added those trading pairs recently and there isn't much liquidity yet - I was able to score ~ 6 BTC worth at 30% discount compared to mainstream exchanges. Look for ETH / Bitcoin and LTC / Bitcoin pairs. Just make sure you buy the right coin - must have a checkmark beside the three letter abbreviation -  Then you just sell it on Poloniex or one of the other exchanges. There are many interesting opportunities like that lately with all the new exchanges and blockchains that don't have liquidity between each other and various pairs they trade.

Check out Ben Perrin's BTC Sessions videos on you YouTube!

Great resources for newbies and veterans alike and Ben's perspective is always genuine, honest, and well thought through. His videos are entertaining and often come with a demo when appropriate.
