yes we need to be alert, the intercontinental missile is claimed to be able to reach and destroy the United States. which I fear the other great countries are triggered to wage a war that can lead to war popping up, yeah we know that south koreae is a very closed country, and big countries need to be wary of that

Really shows why the proliferation of nuclear weapons, and weapons of mass destruction, should be prevented wherever possible.
Of course it also shows the value those weapons have for people like Kim Jong-un. It's perfectly rational for him to develop nuclear weapons since it is practically his only shot at surviving and staying in power at this point.

If western countries are against the proliferation of nuclear weapons then they should take the first step and destroy their massive stockpiles.

Well said. It is hypocritical that the United States (which is having one of the largest stockpiles of nuclear weapons) is trying to force the other nations to stop their nuclear weapons program. If they have at least some sort of morality, then they should first liquidate their own nuclear stockpile, before advising others to refrain from developing nukes.

Now North Korea is a country possessing nuclear weapons, It seemed that this is now unstoppable. Anyone that is within reach of their missiles are in danger. We know how catastrophic it is to be hit by the bombs radioactive blasts. It doesn't need to hit a specific target, it only needs to blow it self of the radioactive materials and all and every living thing will then die out of it's radiation. How sad everyone would want to live, while at the side of the world someone would just want us to die because they are playing with fire. Hope this mind set is going to end. We are a happy human race. Why should we end our lives. Why not spent it looking for another place to live in the universe? May be its worth than doing this.

North Korea just launched its Ballistic Missile. Should the world be alarmed?

I don't think that the world should be alarmed. North Korea reminds me a small angry dog. It barks and shows its teeth but doesn't attack. North Korea threaten more than it is a real threat especcialy while Russia and China can influence it.

For me North Korea is terrifying, because it is very unpredictable. It is like a crazy person, you never know what he will do.

North Korea belongs to a one-party state under a unified front led by the Korean Labor Party. North Korea (North Korea) exhibited intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM) tested last year and new short-range missiles in its military parade.

I believe that North Korea has the right to defend its borders. The Americans must first pull back their forces from the Sea of Japan. The Yanks are causing a lot of provocations in that region.

Their latest missile supposedly has a range of around 12,000 km, which is still not enough to hit New Zealand. May be they will develop an even more powerful missile, which is capable of doing so. But honestly, who is interested in attacking New Zealand? It is an useless island nation.

Hereditary monarchy of the country! Kim jong-un has been hailed as the "most successful post-80s generation"!

Mr Kim's confidence that nuclear weapons can deter American intervention is explosive.

he fact that we know little of North Korea, it refuses to adheres to global sanctions and continues to be a threat to South and to the surrounding nations should be a cause for concern.  It doesn't need to hit a specific target, it only needs to blow it self of the radioactive materials and all and every living thing will then die out of it's radiation.

It has worked till now, right? If he didn't had any nukes, then Kim Jong Un might have faced the same fate as that of Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi. The only reason why the Americans are afraid of attacking the DPRK is the presence of the nuclear weapons.
