Of course it also shows the value those weapons have for people like Kim Jong-un. It's perfectly rational for him to develop nuclear weapons since it is practically his only shot at surviving and staying in power at this point.

Well said. It is hypocritical that the United States (which is having one of the largest stockpiles of nuclear weapons) is trying to force the other nations to stop their nuclear weapons program. If they have at least some sort of morality, then they should first liquidate their own nuclear stockpile, before advising others to refrain from developing nukes.

Now North Korea is a country possessing nuclear weapons, It seemed that this is now unstoppable. Anyone that is within reach of their missiles are in danger. We know how catastrophic it is to be hit by the bombs radioactive blasts. It doesn't need to hit a specific target, it only needs to blow it self of the radioactive materials and all and every living thing will then die out of it's radiation. How sad everyone would want to live, while at the side of the world someone would just want us to die because they are playing with fire. Hope this mind set is going to end. We are a happy human race. Why should we end our lives. Why not spent it looking for another place to live in the universe? May be its worth than doing this.

I don't think that the world should be alarmed. North Korea reminds me a small angry dog. It barks and shows its teeth but doesn't attack. North Korea threaten more than it is a real threat especcialy while Russia and China can influence it.

Their latest missile supposedly has a range of around 12,000 km, which is still not enough to hit New Zealand. May be they will develop an even more powerful missile, which is capable of doing so. But honestly, who is interested in attacking New Zealand? It is an useless island nation.

North Korea doesn't need missiles and nuclear warheads. What for? A war? Nobody likes being in a war. Each countries knew the consequencies of a war with nuclear bombs and heavy armaments. Death to many. And for the benefit of whom? Maybe for personal satisfaction and ambitions? No way, its noth worth it.
