GPU-Z is a common tool that will give you this information. Not all 3GB 1060s can hit 21Mh/s. In fact, I would go so far as to say that many don't, especially seeing the typical performance of cards with Hynix memory. (Granted, overclocking abilities vary unit-by-unit.) However, I would not purchase new cards expecting much better than 19Mh/s on ETH. (Zcash is a good fit for these cards.)

and how about the hynix performed?
Ethash: Samsung 18-19MH/s / 23MH/s @ 4700MHz Hynix 15MH/s / 18 MH/s @ 4250MHz And how about mining ZEC? card with samsung for some reason does 280 ~ sol/s while hynix does arround 265 sol/s Hynix GTX1060 can still achive 300+sol/s on zcash. You have to increase the PowerLimit to 70+ to achieve it. You will achieve more if you max up the PowerLimit.

It is a bad news if all new GPU with hynix but not samsung I guess hynix must be cheaper than samsung, that's the reason no more samsung nowadays? Anyway, I will go to IT store and check if samsung still available tomorrow.

Why not consider the p106 miner cards? At least you don't play memory chip lottery!

Do you mean that p106 always come with samsung memory chip? no he means they are cards made for mining by that i mean they are set up for mining so no guessing what you have, as far i as i know all the 1060 use the p106 board or all mine do . and mine are not mining cards. This will give you all the info you need for AMD Or NV cards . https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/

yes but the card becomes more or less useless for resale once you decide not to mine.

I don't think P106 mining cards are worth it at the current price points, especially for small-time miners who want their hardware to hold its value better.
It's also hard for us to know if chip manufacturers are just scraping the bottom of the bucket for components when it comes to the mining hardware. Perhaps the mining cards get the ones that aren't quite up-to-spec for the normal products. The shorter warranty period, while explainable with the manufacturers having knowledge that the user will almost definitely push the cards by pegging them 24/7, doesn't exactly fill me with confidence either.
Lastly, I don't think any 3GB dedicated mining cards based on the 1060 are around, so this is somewhat off-topic.

+1000mhz on the memory is pushing it. Normally +600-700 is a typical safety limit, since pushing the memory clock too far can start to damage the hardware.

I just look for the cheapest ones available with decent fans. Usually I steer clear of the single-fan 1060s (compact editions and blower-style cards).
