For now, anyone interested in Lindacoin should consider only the staking and lightening fast transaction benefits until we resolve the Masternode issues. We are working tirelessly to ensure all problems are solved.

      Thank you for understanding

This coin is a clone of 8bit, You can tell this as  the devs did not even change the 8bit masternode collateral  from 112 coins.
If you send yourself a transaction of exactly 112 coins you will get valid entry when you run masternode outputs.
If you add 30,000,000 to your wallet as advertised you will not get anything when you run masternode outputs.

However if you try and start a masternode with 112 coin collateral (or if you recompile it as 30,000,000) then I think the mastenode public key is not valid -another bug/oversight in the code- and the network reports your node as misbehaving.

I did bring this up with the dev, and I felt from his answers he actually did not have the competence to fix the masternode issue, Also hes been offline since 18th of July now....

Also I think in order to resolve the masternode issue there would likely need to be a new wallet and a fork (I am a developer but I'm not an coin dev, I could be wrong)

I can say that regular staking does work fine with this coin.

So as the dev said, you should only consider staking and fast transactions when pricing this coin.

agreed. the more exchanges the better. OpenLedger.io would have been a great exchange if it were not that buggy and had more volume. waves DEX is also okay but it also has some bugs though not as buggy as bitshares

Hi All,

Just invested after waiting for Linda to hit Cryptopia. I'm in it for long term, not just a quick flip. I want to get to the point i can have a masternode set up and support the coin however possible. I just wanted to ask if anyone has one running yet?. Can you still stake with a lower amount than 30mil?. i have a few mil of Linda but not enough to set up the node, i can still stake what i have correct?, id like to work up to the point i can set up a node.

30mil high pretty high price for a node (personal opinion), about €4000 roughly. Cant quite drop that amount on it yet.

Apologies for the noobish questions. Thanks in advance for your help.

Due to a configuration issue no blocks where generated on hexpool.com for the last hours. I've sent a compensation of 10.000 LINDA to everyone who submitted at least one valid share.

www.hexpool.com
Stable, fast, https secure - only 2% mining fee!

Code:
-a scrypt -o stratum+tcp://hexpool.com:3433 -u YOURWALLETADDRESS -p c=LINDA

For Nicehash you need to use a higher difficulty:
Code:
-a scrypt -o stratum+tcp://hexpool.com:3433 -u YOURWALLETADDRESS -p c=LINDA,d=8192

Any sources, such as github.com ?

I found this.

https://github.com/Lindacoin/Linda

So what about this virus at the wallet?

How I can run the wallet from github if it doesn't have virus there?

The only wallet source (windows) from Linda site and has virus...

Up. Guys I-ve been asking both here and to the devs about this for two days but no answers anywhere. Really ?  Is everybody just staking on a trojan infected wallett ?

Hello!

I'm new to POS mining. Have 3 millions of LINDA. Is there any way to mine in pool with POS because I don't have all the needed 30 millions of LINDA to setup Master NODE? One more question. I've got a Mac and from what i've studied there is no wallet for OS X. Is there a way for me to keep coins instead of exchange? Thanks in advance.

Firstly youll have to have your coins in a hardware wallet for the to stake. theoretically what you are asking is possible, we could actually do it with a trusted member of the community right here, but thats the issue: trust. there are a few staking pools out there but this coin is in its infancy and as such i dont think there are any for linda. with 3 million coins youd probably stake around 8000 a day if you can find an old laptop lying around just run that.

Thanks for reply! Mining seems to be unprofitable for me... At its best it would be about 0.4 BTC in 1000 days measuring cryptopia's current price)). Will be waiting for the next exchange listing to sell at affordable price.

Can you post daily updates, so community knows this is not a scam coin. What makes a GOOD coin is communication with community not only dev. Looking forward on the latest updates, also will be good to provide expected roadmap with timeline.

you can simply get a Windows VPS, install the Linda Windows wallet there, transfer your Linda to the wallet in VPS and leave the wallet open connected to the network.  That is the simple solution for you that you use Mac. For doing this you will constantly receive your staking reward.

            Thank you

You have this with many wallets. They have an IRC bot included to find partner servers to sync blocks from - those are recognized as trojans sometimes as many botnets use the same technology.

Quickdeal, is there an ETR on the masternode issue? There is one guy in the discord chat that has been able to get 3 running but took a lot of work. If it's going to be a while then we can ask him to write out a guide for in the meantime. If it'll be fixed soon though, there's no need to have him write it out. I have GIFs and MEMEs ready to drop as soon as issue is resolved.
