And please-please-please don't make it SHA-256. CPU-only is the best trend for now on...

I don't like gambling, but I do encourage new alt-coins with new ideas.  Do you realize how much of crypto coins go to gambling sites.  I bet you do.  They will hate you with a passion for this and will heavily attack you.  Good luck with this, and be sure to heavy test on a testnet first before you go live.

This. One of the few newly proposed altcoins with an original idea. Let's see whether this materializes ....

Edit: nothing of course stands in the way of heavy early mining and early adopting like seems to be the rage these days Smiley
Yeah it does, the starting diff. Start high and walk it down.

+1

And make it so the first blocks are less valuable than the further blocks, this allows people to get started and the diff to adjust before giving out 40% of the coins to be generated to early adopters.

Just learn from the previous launches and you get a chance for a better start. I'm looking forward to see where this goes, interesting idea.

I like the idea of the first 1000 or so blocks having 0 (zero) reward.  This way the hash rate can stabilize (a bit) & no complaints that I was at work, or I was asleep or whatever, and I could not get in on the first mined blocks.

Are there ways to earn this coin without mining, maybe by writing?
