There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Dude...first things first, dust off that poor graphic card and the rest of the hardware Sad your rig will be thankful and might even run a bit less hot.

You should put your rig in a room with a good airflow, preferably dry(obviously not bathroom lol), spacious room less misc stuff...something in that order by my priority.

I'd cut a piece of plywood and make some spacers and start stacking cards on top of the Asus card..  Roll Eyes
