I have questions about deeppoint, if a user creates multiple accounts on deeponionforum, they will cheat it. Is that acceptable? And if not, is there a way to handle it?
DeepPoints farming is not acceptable, and will most likely end with a temporary or a permanent ban, thats both with single or multiple accounts. On another note, My computer just crashed today and I ended up having to put a new windows on it, I got no clue what happened. I don't have the latest backup of my DO wallet, but I should still be able to get all my onions back, even with an older backup file, correct? Thanks Reinstall the wallet and just restore the wallet.dat into the proper location. Hope you didn't add any new addresses to the wallet since the last backup though. |

Hmm, it hadn't occurred to me to backup the wallet after every new address is created. It may well be worth you creating a thread on deeponion.org recommending people do just that zurg. |

Agree with this 100% The Deep Domination tasks were a great idea, helps to spread out the word to the rest of the community via formats that are used by mass people! and on top of that you get rewarded with Deep Points for doing it which will give us even more onions each week  |

Try to restart your computer and run wallet again, I don't know why, but my wallet after running 24H out of sync as well sometimes. Also check is your local time is same with your computers. I had received message that my time is different. |

I had that problem, for me the simplest way was to backup my wallet, reinstal it, than add fresh nodes. At the end I just imported backup wallet file and done. Luckily blockchain isn't that big for download again. |

Unless you're in China, or your ISP is somehow blocking those ports - you should be fine. Make double sure the .conf file is in the proper folder - also TRIPLE check that it ends in .conf and not .conf.txt |

I had that problem, for me the simplest way was to backup my wallet, reinstal it, than add fresh nodes. At the end I just imported backup wallet file and done. Luckily blockchain isn't that big for download again. +1 to this answer from pedjo99 - this did the trick for me on the one and only occasion the Onion wallet refused to sync - the problem that caused the weird wallet response was almost certainly the hard shutdown of the computer I performed immediately prior to the weird wallet response. If that makes sense. |
