I already see the frustration when the exchange happens starts at sub 50 cents and goes to 4 cents in no time. Not that I hope that will happen, but the expectation of 1 $ is overly optimistic I dont think so. There is no other coin right now that can do what onion does. This is pretty unique. All the bitcoin clones out there have really hard times because they add no ground breaking new features. Onion belongs in the top 10 on market cap really... that gives a fair price around 30 USD. |

Hi ONION people, Can someone tell me how to find out if my wallet is staking or not. I have my wallet unlocked and could see the staking Weight at the button right corner mouse overing the icon there of the wallet. But I see no Stake: 0.00 ONION (just under the Spendable:) at the left mid top of the wallet. Please help  Thanks in advanced You're doing all right, just wait until you receive your first stake. The timespan till you receive a stake can be several hours to (1-2) days, because a lot of wallets (and the dev wallet i guess) are staking at the moment |

Not that I hope that will happen, but the expectation of 1 $ is overly optimistic 50c might be a good start even more but doubt it would be any less, what will set this apart is vote central from other projects, this alone lends huge support to the strength of this coin as it will be community based input in the direction of the project and Onion already showing good support amongst its followers. |

So I understand the wallet uses tor but wanted to clarify something. Does the wallet operate as an exit point for the tor network or is it just connecting to it? Your website makes it sound like it is operating as an exit point "Helping the TOR Network: By operating DeepOnion, you help to increase the number of nodes on the TOR network, and in so doing, you help people all over the world stay anonymous online.". If that is the case people should be aware of the implications of that.

Deeponion wallet is not exit node. In order to be exit node you need to set up server and different configuration needed. We help Tor by creating extra traffic and it leads to better mixing so it becomes much harder for some slave masters to detect who is who... Also we advertise it people more understand their assets securer in deeponion and also they should use tor for privacy. Of corse I hope that onion will be great and with great price but I think that there is at least one coin with tor support. Signatum has some conection with tor network.
