Great coin. Is it the longest airdrop ever!?. It will be fantastic distribution. I'm in.
Does wallet create exit node for TOR users?
Is it The longest AIRDROP ever?
I'd totally say yes, but has anyone asked themselves why 40 weeks of successive AIRDROPS?
1) Regular AIRDROPS :
Usually for an airdrop, you either register with an email and a wallet adress (or numerous ones), and/or the BTT account, email and wallet adress. The giveaway is a one shot .
What are the problems with that method?
The aim is to spread the coin to the max number of users and create by that mean a community. The problems are, no one cares about the project, hardly anyone read the entire OP and you tend to forget about the coin or its purpose.
The "community" does absolutely nothing to promote the coin witch usually means that there is no "viral" effect at all and once the AIRDROP is over, the numbers of new registered people stalls out.
2) DeepOnion AIRDROPS : 40 weeks of successive airdrops
40 weeks, seems like quite some time if you think about it. We have seen the problems with regular airdrops methodology. But with the DO airdrop model :
a) You are simply forced to go through the OP (maybe not 100%) and have a basic understanding of the project (to say the least)
b) 10 posts a week and 50 char per post. Let's face it people, at some point, we kind of run out of ideas and don't know how to fill the requirement. Or is that it? To make it happen, we either react to someone else's thread, or go fish for information to have something meaningful to say. Such a dynamic allows the DO topic to not be full of BS and most importantly, to get the momentum going.
c) We are encouraged to take actions for DO promotion with regular bonuses and bounties. That is, in itself, one of the most powerful tools the devs have put in place. Since we know that the success of a coin is closely tied to it's community, actively rewarding us for the promotion part, let's face it, is trully encouraging.
D) 40 weeks...while time passes and we get the next rounds of airdrops, the devs follow through the roadmap. As we are still completely wired (to fill the requirements, or simply working for the promotion), we see the achievement of milestones or get some nice news (for example, and exchange listing DO). They do not go unnnoticed and everytime, you get that feeling of development and achievement. Somehow, you start to feel this nice connection with the project, as if you were part of it!
I don't know if all these parameters were discussed among the team, and strictly considered, but all these aspects of the airdrop are well thought and structured. It's momentum is taken care off with finesse and ingenuity.
As we french would say : "Bravo!"
