Previously, it said "Application rejected. Found suspicious activity."

I can't tell if this is a good thing or if I am not just permanently rejected. I have been active on both forums, doing some bounty work. I have read and re-read the rules and I believe I am following them. Oh well.

if you have read and re-read the rules, it say's "All accounts registered after July 12, 2017 is not qualified." you may ponder on this.

Well his account date is ok, it was created way before that date.  So this is not his problem here...

Admittedly, I was not active on the forum for several months early this year. I came back to the forums because I had most of my life savings on BTC-e when they were taken down in July, and I didn't know what to do with myself. I didn't even know that Deep Onion existed at that time. I was actively posting on the forums for 5-6 weeks before applying for the airdrop. It seems obvious from my posting activity that I didn't "wake up" my account to join the Deep Onion airdrop.

Anyway, it sounds like a should give up hope. One of the moderators said that my account looked fine, but maybe not. Thanks for the advice, guys.

Well that's easy for you to say as you obviously haven't been around in Bitcoin very long and experienced a multi-year bear market.
I can tell you from personal experience, that people lose interest and focus on other things in their lives.
Like many other people with older accounts, I came back to the forums this year mainly just to lurk around and read the speculation threads.
I spotted the missed opportunity with Minereum and then kept an eye on the altcoins sub in case anything else came along - like DO.
It seems there are a lot of people in a similar situation to myself that have been Blacklisted for not having posted until recently, despite fulfilling all of the original stated criteria.
A cynical person might say that accounts created in the last couple of months before the airdrop started are also suspicious but for completely different reasons. I won't elaborate on that last comment.

i joined the airdrop before the first round, and got paid for the first round. Then i have been 3 weeks in holidays and coulnd't get enough posts.
Can i still take part in the next round if i get enough posts?
I'm remembering, that there was a rule, when you pause for 3 weeks you can't join again?
But it looks like they have removed this rule as i can't find it anymore.

Does anybody know the current rule regarding this?

I don't think you will be able to, as there is a rule on the deeponion site that states "If you miss one week posting over 10 valid posts you will be excluded from only that week's distribution. if you don't follow the 10 post rule for a cumulative 3 weeks, then you will be excluded from future distribution permanently."

I was rejected also. I think you get two different status depending on wear you check. Like there's an apply page, and then there's a check status page. Both gave me different messages. Unfortunate no reason as to why the rejection.

Yep, same here.
My account was locked up after the breach of 2015, I tried to get it open back then but after going through (Terrahash, AlphaTech and GAW's Paycoin) took a break from the board just occasionally reading it. In May I emailed Admins trying to get my account unlocked and received no reply. Then in 2017-09-03 I created an account "realZurg" because I was starting to get involved in LINDA coin, a week later after expanding more of the board I ran across Deep Onion and loved the idea so I joined the community to learn more, contribute and be part of it. I guess that makes me suspicious also, lol.

Tutorial to create Paperwallet without using online resources.

As I said earlier, I never trust any online source with my private keys and neither should anyone who deals crypto. So I came up with probably the safest method to secure your wallet by creating your own paper wallet, all offline

1) For this tutorial, you will need 2 Softwares
Go to following links and download and install (if installation is needed) both Softwares

Something to encrypt your text in the private key

Something to convert your private and public key into a barcode so that copying becomes easier

2) Now, go to your DeepOnion wallet.

Click on the receive tab. Right click on the address that you want to convert into your own paper wallet. and Copy it


3) Now click on the help menu > Debug window
click on the menu shown in red


A new window will open
4) Click on the "Console" tab
and then in the bar below you can type your commands
Check available commands by typing "help"


Now enter command
5) dumpprivkey <your DeepOnion address that you copied in first step>
It will show you the private key corresponding to your DeepOnion Address
Copy this key and paste it in a text file with your DeepOnion address (DeepOnion address is not necessary). To recover your wallet using private key, all you need is the private key


Now lets go back to the softwares that you downloaded in the beginning

6) Go to CTI text encryption 6.0.1
enter your private key that you copied before and paste it in the main window
You can add up to 4 different passwords simultaneously to super protect your private key and click on encrypt. I use generally only 2 but its up to you. DONT FORGET THE PASSWORD


Copy the encrypted key and email it to yourself for safety. Its protected by passwords so you can save it whichever way you want.

7) Now lets create the barcode for your public address. (I recommend not to create a barcode using your private key). Anyone who has any app that can read barcode will be able to use your private key immediately. So DONT. Copy your public key
Open Zint Barcode Studio
Select Aztec code as shown below


Paste your public key here


Now go to the Aztec Code tab
And refine your barcode
I like to use compact design but feel free to use anything that you want


Now time to try it out before saving everything.
Make sure that you can decrypt your private key using your saved encrypted private key and your passwords

To decrypt.
click on Erase All option
Paste the key into the encrypted key window (bottom part)
enter the passwords that you used in their respective places (I dont know if order is necessary but there are password 1 ,2,3,4 fileds, so just use the ones that you used before)
Then click on decrypt
You should see your key in the Normal Text window (Big white window above)

Make sure using your cellphone and a barcode reader application (Any barcode reader will work) you can point it at the screen and see the DeepOnion address on your cellphone.

If everything looks ok, then save the barcode and the encrypted private key on a paper, create a PDF out of it or save it whichever way, this is the safest way to create your own public key barcode nad encrypted private key combo that you can save forever.

This technique works on every single crypto wallet.

STOP USING ONLINE SOURCES TO GET YOUR PRIVATE KEY.
USE LOCAL RESOURCES, AIR GAPPED COMPUTER TO SAVE YOUR PRIVATE KEYS!!

In next 3 years when you are a millionaire, thank me )
