I think it will be automatic.Admin and deeponion developers check every accepted users posts and status before airdrop and they will see you updated to full member.My rank also got updated to full member yesterday.I am excited to receive airdrop as a full member tomorrow.

A friend of mine wanted to join the airdrop too, he created his bitcointalk user about 2 months ago. I remember there was  rule, that to participate in airdrops the account need to be registered before the airdrops were announced, but he said he couldn't find this info in the AD rules.

The new cut-off date is Sept 1. If he created his account prior to that he is safe to apply. Assuming he has the proper rank.

This rule has been changed. Accounts registered before 1. September are allow to apply for airdrop. Before the date was 12. July.
Tell your friend we welcome him to apply for DeepOnion airdrop.

As far as i know it's been changed & things are getting a little bit easier (little bit).
I lost hope when reading the last pages, but it seems the update they are making about getting into the Air Drop is a bit better than before,  so i myself considered getting into this DeppOnion project.

This project seems promising, lots of features to com with the wallet & the system of deepOnion, so it's worth the try & the time.

Although we've lessened the requirements to join the AirDrop, there are still a number of people who might be just shy of making it in. I would highly recommend that before you rank up, you take some time to ensure you know the rules, and you become active here and on the official forum.
