i've got a question on the new rules for the airdrop 16 rules,
What if an individual cannot afford to have 100 onions in his wallet? Maybe they can buy a few but not 50 due to financial difficulties?
I am not referring to myself but as in general. There are genuine members on here that would struggle to pay for 100 onions.
Would having a little amount of onions in your wallet make you eligible for the airdrop if you met all other requirements?
Hi, It is a mandatory requirement at the moment. Your wallet must contain at least 100 onions, it is not optional. You have the possibility of winning onions participating in the different contests, giveaways or bounties that are organized in the official forum DeepOnion.org Good Luck

I was thinking, ok bittrex is light years from now to add deeponion, atleast till airdrop finishes. But what about exchanges like hitbtc, cryptopa or c-cex ? They seems like a fair exchanges for this phase of development in deeponion. I suppose deepsend will be implemented throught next month or two, so it would be nice to start working with them step by step even now. I think there would't be a problem for community to start raising onion/btc donations for some exchanges in order to add onion to their lists. What do you think ?

Seems to be good. I hope I can participate on one round. Thanks!
Hi there @tomminges! You need to become a junior member first on bitcointalk before you can join for the airdrops. Since you are registered before October 1, 2017, just increase your activity in bitcointalk so that you will uprank until you reach junior member, then you can apply. And also you need to be a member of the Dee[Onion forum. For more details with the new rules, please visit https://deeponion.org/airdrop.htmlYou can also visit our DeepOnion forum for other information: https://deeponion.org/community/

I have a confusion about new airdrop rules. Say, I have 12,000 Onoin in my account and I am Jr Member. Thus my factor is 0.8. Then am I get 10000*0.8= 8000 and 2000*1.2= 2400, Subtotal = 10400? Is it correct? or correct me please.

As of now you need a minimum of 100 coins in your wallet. To get Onions you can do some of these: You can participate in the giveaways hosted on the DO forum. You should be able to get a few onions. If you have some technical skills try out bounties. Posting articles, creative images like ones you see on this thread can earn you bounties.

The final number (10400) is a measure of your share of the Onions that you be airdropped. You can expect to get between 5-10% of your address balance as actual airdrop coins.

New Question on this Airdrop thread - the help me clarify the rules and climate here.
The original Coin announcement said regarding the Airdrops:
"6. Once I become a Jr. Member; can I participate in future airdrops?
Yes, you can participate in the following weeks once you become a Jr. Member."
Was this ever true? Or was it only true if you had joined BTCTalk by the "proper time", but were still gaining post rank?

Your weight is. 10000 * 1 + 2000 * 1,2 = 12400 And you will receive: (12400 / total weight ) * airdrop amount = your airdrop

Jr. member has always been the minimum rank requirement to join the airdrop from the start. But you should be registered by Oct. 1,2017 in order to be eligible for the airdrop. I would suggest that you be active both here and the DO forum, increase your rank to at least jr. member. We will never know maybe you can be eligible too. Why? because the registration date has been moved 3x already. It started with July 12, then they moved it to sept.1 I think, then now its Oct.1

If you check the rules on the 1st page of the ANN it clearly states that *1 for first 10k onions and anything after that is *1.2 . If you core factor supporter it will be capped at *5 for the first 10k pending which core factor.
