What are the current rules for the airdrop? Looks like the airdrop site at deeponion.org is outdated.
Ive read that the post count was lowered?
Yes post count is lowered and also there is not registration date limit to Join the Airdrop  I am blind or are the old requirements still online on the deep onion website? It says 5 msg here and 3 in do forum. |

We've had to create a new thread as a result of crypto-rainbow's account being compromised and hearing no response from Bitcointalk staff. If the account is ever recovered we will revert back to the previous.

Hi Guys
Something is wrong with downloading the blockchain in the wallet. It is taking FOREVER to download. And yes, I do have a properly configured conf file. I have 11 active connections to the network, but it is moving EXTEMELY slow!
DEVS: Can someone please post the blockchain download somewhere?

Crypto-Rainbow is back in his new incarnation as "deeperx" deleting everything he does not like. Nice guy from China. And it was an easy way to get rid of that -16 reputation. Cool played Crypto! DeepOnion 1.4.3 Wallets Update (new Mac Wallet With Dv)... Why you guys don't just sell a stake of that premined coins and get some real and good development team on board? It can really be done what you promised everybody, but not with new "releases" where you updated seed nodes. |

You can make easy money by arbitrage trading, it does not make sense to be locked into DO for even a day to get this 5% dividend. Most of it they distribute amongst themselves and the moderators to dilute that premined pool and lay a smokescreen. Dump will come in about 10 weeks, a month before the end of those marketing payments called "airdrop". 14 million premined coins. And many people will lose a lot of money. |

Im sure that dump will happen around end of airdrops.
But.
I got pile of money from airdrops.
I can dump it all now and get tens of thousands of dollars. And i never bought onions. I only posted comments here on BTC, which pumped my status which is also nice thing to have.
So my plan is to keep half of it, other half will be gradually invested into other altcoins. Win/win all around and if this things continues to exist it may ver well hit 100$ per onion somewhere in the end of next year.

That "white paper" is just a list of options and scenarios. They do not describe what, if, how and when they will or can do it.
Problem with DO is that it is a marketing stunt without a dedicated development team behind. Perhaps in the beginning it was merely an experiment how to make money fast by copy & paste code. Now there is a huge community behind.
So, I said that before, why not use some of the premined coins, sell them and use the money to hire some real developers that can make DO what it says it is?!

The Devteam should continue to work on recovering the account. On the side note, Onion is very stable at the moment at 42k to 44k sats price range and didn't blink when BTC starts to rally.
This thread will not be abandoned - but we cannot claim it as our official bitcointalk thread until such stage as its OP recovers their account. As far as I am aware, there has been no response as yet from bitcointalk mods to the OPs request for reinstatement. |
