Best wallets for storing coins are the wallet made by the dev/team of the project. But I think cold storage is the best, exodus is not also a bad one. The most popular use wallet is myetherwallet.

Wallets should be a lot. You do not have to put all the eggs in one basket. Some coins can be stored on exchanges.

Cold wallets are the best IMO. Such devices as Trezor or Ledger are really a must-have if you are seriously deep in crypto. They give you not only decent security and even if yours account would be compromised the scammer won't be able to withdraw funds without your manual confirmation.
At can work with MEW for ERC-20 tokens being used as a key to enter your online wallet.

In my opinion the best wallet for altcoin is Trezor. This is a very convenient, simple and at the same time safe wallet.

I use myetherwallet and everything suits me. Almost all altcoins are ERC-20 tokens. MEW had cases where wallets were hacked, but I think it's the fault of the owners of these wallets.

there is no single answer to this question. but if you are going to store ercc20 tokens i advise you to use a hardware wallet like trezor wallet. it also allows you to connect to myetherwallet in a safer way.

Try to work only with those purses from which private keys are available only to you and no one else, then the security of your funds will depend only on how much you securely store your keys. Whatever you hear about other wallets they are unsafe.

What is the best and trusted wallet for lots of altcoins?

I like working with myetherwallet. He has already confirmed the safety and ease of use. For several years of my work, he did not let me down absolutely.

any wallet can be considered reliable if it locally (and safely) stores private keys.

The primary thing you ought to do before searching for an altcoin wallet is to figure out what kinds of altcoins do you have and what sort of security would you like to have. In the event that you have normal altcoins like the mainstream ones and you need likewise a sheltered wallet then you can simply purchase an equipment wallet which is certainly the best sort of wallet.

I am currently working mainly with the IMtoken purse, a fairly functional and easy-to-use option, offering modern security standards.

Now I work mostly with the coinomi wallet, it is very simple and convenient to work with different mobile devices, there are no security problems here.

mew ain't a wallet, it's just an access tool to the blockchain. in addition, u must ensure the secure storage of private keys.

Hardware wallets are always the safest. Either Ledger nano or Trezor. In case you cannot afford a hardware wallet or do not want to put money in it then myetherwallet and mycrypto are a good choice. if you want a mobile wallet then ethos has developed a very good mobile wallet as well as Eidoo.

I use 2 wallet. Bread wallet for the iPad and Metamask for the computer. Braeadwallet supports only 50 tokens. But they do not need to be added. Metamask supports all the tokens of the ERC-20 format. But almost everything has to be added manually. Smiley

just don't forget that hardware wallets must be purchased only from trusted suppliers.

When choosing, you need to consider the security and reputation of the wallet. Personally, for my work I chose the wallet etherwallet - it is very effective for working with my altcoins, based on ETH.
