I read an article that some people are actually mortgaging their homes to invest in bitcoin. If that's happening right now, how much of a risk do you see this as being? Would other cryptocurrencies be a better option at this point?

Actually when I see some question like this one I reply by "it is better late than never" but now ... with aproximatly 17k USD (and it still raising), I think that is really late.
Because the purpose of buying or investing in cryptocurrencies is to earn money from its raise.
But now, maybe the Bitcoin is on its TOP and will not raise again but in the case of a raise of 2k USD for example you will have a little profit so I see that you better invest your money in something less risked.

I think in the case of buying or not bitcoin, there is no "late" or "early" to buy, however you should have caution, you need to keep an eye on how the price is oscillating and if possible ask for opinions from who have experience ( someone of confidence). And the main thing, do not spend an amount of money that you may need later, because the investment is long-term.
ps .: I have no experience with buy and sale of bitcoins, I gave my opinion. Please correct me if there is a mistake.

Of course it is never too late to buy bitcoin. More and more people use it so bitcoin will continue to rise. So if you buy bitcoin today and save it for at least 3 yrs, for sure you will make a good profit from it.

Even the blind can see that crypto Currency is making people millionaires all over the world just because they present the holders of such currency with the financial freedom and opportunity to accrue large amounts of wealth base on currency investment . But my question is that, is it late to buy bitcoin? Should i wait maybe bitcoin price will decline after 1st August meeting? Please i will welcome your advice so that I can make my decision on crypto currency investment.
For me is a little to late, but that's just my personal opinion. If the price would've been $100 again I would've bought some more, but it isn't. :| I will have to be happy buying Altcoins.  |

For me is a little to late, but that's just my personal opinion. If the price would've been $100 again I would've bought some more, but it isn't. :| I will have to be happy buying Altcoins. Its never to late only now or at the moment you will need to invest quite the amount of money. Ok is to pick some alt many do this and they later convert to bitcoin after they gain some value in fiat. Also many articles predict that this is not over and that price will go up again so maybe you should consider investing even some small amout this can be good at the end. |

for the current price I think it's too high to buy bitcoin and too much risk. but if you have a lot of money does not matter because bitcoin prices will be higher. so you still need a long investment and will bring a lot of benefits if you buy a lot of bitcoin.

It will not make you a millionare, for instance due to its risky nature, a person is prepared to invest 1000 usd, bitcoin would have to be worth 8 million for that eprson to become a millionaire.
Nope its good time to buy bitcoin because the rate of bitcoin is still low and the reason is that bitcoin have no big figure of users when the percentage of user of bitcoin will increased then the users of bitcoin will also increased and you will earn enough more profit. |

It is never too late to buy bitcoin, as you know bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that is volatile and decentralized, it's value continue to fluctuate but the general trend of its value continue to rise up, you can start now and buy bitcoin and invest or you wait for it to go down which is not gonna happen soon because of the demand

No i think it is not late to buy bitcoins,still there is to much time ,BTW i don't think so there is specific time to buy bitcoins,but i think if you have money so do fast as much as you can,because if you buy now you can earn more money,and also the price of bitcoins goes up and down so there is a golden opportunity for every one that bay any time,they will get a big profit

Since the price got low from $20k , I think its not late to buy Bitcoin. There is a possibility for it to get high and reach $20k again and maybe exceed from it. Well the price depends on the demand in the market. When the demand is high, the value will rise in the market. So its not late to buy bitcoin. Until there is investors, the value of it will rise and rise.

On my own point of view I think it is not too late to buy bitcoin its because bitcoin price as of now drops so you will have the opportunity to buy it in a low price so you will be able to earn big when the price of it increases again since the value of bitcoin is volatile so its better to buy now or never.

I guess we can't say that. because nobody knows what is the real price of BTC. so if pass two years and the price reach 100.000 USD , is too late now ? As all investments in the world there is a risk.

I think its not too late to buy it. Others will say it too late now because of the value of it and its hard to obtain it because of expensive. Come to think of it, buying bitcoins can take you a lot of possibilities. Its not too late to buy because it is still increasing and also decreasing many people will come to it. Reaching its milestone is just a start, its never been too late.

Its never too late buddy! You can buy coin any time. And as we can see it is so volatile. Look at the market flow. Yes it is not stable and BTC also fell down this past few days. But I do believe that it can recover soon. Thats because a lot of establishments and countries around the world is using and accepting BTC. Although it is not their primary currency but still if a lot of people knows about it and it get more demands I think it is just enough to say that BTC will soon be more valuable.
