Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Yeah that's what's cool about low difficulty, even us slow miners can get regular pay!
Even if it is small!

Yeah you have to get a share in the p2pool before you get paid.
The accepted's you see in the miner are really just to measure your speed.
One lucky one will be a real share.
Also it will likely continue to pay out after you stop mining as long a you still have a share in the chain.

Been mining here for the last 4 hours or so with my humble 750kH/s.
I'm liking this pool quite a lot.

No worries.
Would like to see you all hang around for a while.

I'm also looking for ideas as to what to do with the pool's 3% share in the future. (Other than paying for it's server)

Well i could suggest the following :

each 12 hours, you take a look at the wallet adresses that have been on the payout list .

Out of those addresses, you pick one random address, and that person wins a small jackpot (let's say 30% of the 3% fees)

that leaves you with  70% of fees to pay the server & do whatever you like Smiley

I like it.
We're gonna need more miners for it to be a meaningful amount though.
