Dev, are you alive?

"Houston, we have a problem ... O_o"

AWOL it seems
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

https://www.coinexchange.io/network/peers/KGB

working nodes

I've been checking this messy code and for some reason i still do not get, is not about multiforks, is about local desincronizations, seems like same chain is floating in several dimensions depending on how often the user open the wallet or in the case of exchanges, i dont know, but solution seems not easy unless everyone makes a general restart with new nodes certain day at certain time, or maybe dev should consider a swap to a better coin or fix the code forcing a hard fork,. From the OP you cannot really see what this coin is meant to do for people or animals or countries or whatever? So what is the main purpose?

Doe anyone have an answer to this quite relevant question? Cheesy

Cant sync wallet or mine it atm nor send coins anywhere reliably, so dead unless someone can spend the time to fix as you say.

Looks pretty safe to say that the dev has done a runner... oh well, will archive my wallet should this coin be resurrected one day.

Hi guys!
Are you talking about me?

I AM NOT the dev of this coin.
I helped dev with ANN and POOL and EXPLORER as part of my "bussines".
I also tried to fix the forked wallets with bumbacoin, but there are too many forks and that was sadly impossible to fix.

ATM my only coin is LITECOINULTRA, but not KGB.

Regards!

Hi all!

KangarooBits here.
Sry for being away this long, but I don't want to come here without a real solution to KGB forks problem...

First of all I want to apologize about that multi-forks on the KangarooBits chain.
We have been trying to fix that on several ways with no luck, and that almost 'killed' KGB.
Btw I must say the coin has been created by Cryptocoderz for us, but he completely abandoned us  and given zero support for fixing the issue.

I want to say thanks to TheMiningPool and BumbaCoin for his greatful help trying to fix the issue.

Btw, we don't want to let KGB die, and we had an idea.
Gonna create a KGB2 POS only coin to make a SWAP for the old and broken KGB. Will remove POW to avoid inflation.
We will need to know how many KGB you (all users) have,  to be able send you the same amount on KGB2.

So keep watching this thread Smiley
We will post updates soon .
Working on KGB2 right now !
