Exciting times in Cryptocurrency market. When more and more investors come into the market there will definitely be more price stability.
Wall Street is a center of power, and if they join in crypto world they can bring a lot of money with them. Its a Wall Street, so if they pump in a lot of money they will be whales in bitcoin world like they are now in real, I don`t like them, but we cant stop them from joining. I think they live from other people misery, they started economy crash 10 years ago, they are responsible for many manipulations, cause that is what they are manipulators, nothing more then that, and cause they are so rich they can manipulate with countries, markets, people. We will see what kind of investors they are, bitcoin started to attract good and bad people and institutions, and I don`t like that fact. How much money they plan to pump in, and what can they do with bitcoins will be seen, but if they say that price can hit 55k in just 5 years that is manipulation, buying now, pumping the price and dumping and leaving the club, thats how they do business. |

This is not necessarily true if a whale has 100k bitcoins then it does not matter if bitcoin is worth a dollar or 10k, that whale still has 100k bitcoins and can move and manipulate the market, if more whales ally and try to make the price of bitcoin crash they can do it regardless of the price that each bitcoin may have at the moment. |

You're openning the thread like all the wall street strategists agree with this. When we click the link it's only a person called Tom Lee saying that bitcoin can go to $55,000 and this is click-bait! It's not realistic, $55k per bitcoin. |

bitcoin going down to 55k, i think we should really check the credibility of our source, why would rich investors still invest in bitcoin if they there would be a high loss in the long run. we should check history, back then no one in wall predicted the market crashes, so they could save their investments, saying that bitcoin will crash seems that they are afraid of what bitcoin might become since it is higher in value than per share of stocks they own.

This is all speculations and no one really knows if this will happen. All we need is to trust bitcoin that it will soar high for the upcoming years. So better hold our coins tight. |

Wow this is really great for us. Bitcoin will probably the best coin there ever is. Wow I really can't believe by thatm It probably is heaven for all of us here to see bitcoin flying in the sky whoot. It is rrally bitcoin to the moon. $55,000 wow I really cant believe on this.

This is nothing but a wild speculation you should not count on it, of course I and all the forum will be very happy if bitcoin reached that price but it is almost impossible that is going to happen especially since adoption will need to grow almost exponentially in order to reach that price, however that does not mean that bitcoin is not going to grow, it will but at a slower rate. |

we could all just hope for this to happen, but with things going on right now, its possible for bitcoin to hit tje 55k mark even within 5 years, since more and more people are being aware of what bitcoin is and it's value.

It could happen quicker- adoption can grow exponentially until basically everyone is using it.
Compare Bitcoin to the internet and think of how fast we went from "What is the internet?" to every man woman and child carrying an internet accessing device on them 24/7. First thing they do when they wake up? Check their internet connected device. Last thing they do before bed? Check their internet connected device.
We went from "What is this internet you're talking about?" to overwhelming adoption in relatively no time at all.
If you assume that Crypto is actually better than fiat, which all of us on this site certainly do, chances are it's only a matter of time before it is used more than fiat.

I think that's an overly optimistic analogy. Bitcoin is interesting, but in no sense is it as revolutionary as the Internet was to the pre-internet world. I don't even think Bitcoin is an overall improvement over fiat, only a niche improvement in very select instances. I'm not entirely convinced bitcoin prices above $4000 aren't a bubble. |

Yeah well it doesn't take a brain surgeon, or even a wall street analyst to predict that. Simply go back 5 years, is was worth less than $10. That is 500x increase or 100x per year on average. It is currently $4,500 therefore if the same trend continues, it will be worth $450,000 in 5 years.

That was awesome if that really happens . Maybe it is a good choice if we hold bitcoin now than trade it. It is really possible to happen . Throughout 2017, the bitcoin price continuously achieved new all-time highs without major corrections apart so maybe in 2022 if will reach $55000 price. I hope this will really happena in the near future this make many people will demand bitcoin more. |

I doubt that it could wait 5 years for it to reach $55,000. Bitcoin is now $11,000 and I think it could hit $20,000 before this year ends. So I guess hitting $50,000 will take only 2 years or less. But of course that is my own opinion.

I agree, this prediction was made middle of this year. Some revision is due eg $55k by end of 2018 instead of 2022. I doubt that it could wait 5 years for it to reach $55,000. Bitcoin is now $11,000 and I think it could hit $20,000 before this year ends. So I guess hitting $50,000 will take only 2 years or less. But of course that is my own opinion.
