https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1_gxvx_QGo&t=56m48sSome guy inteligently asked that in the scenario of a hardfork, would he (Craig Wright) dump his million bitcoins into the competing blockchains to crash them? (which is the most obvious move if you want to defeat the competition) He went mad when he got asked. This for me is a clear sign of the fact that he does not control these coins. When asked about the fake proof, he also didn't give any convincing explanation. I now want to actually see what would happen if there is a hardfork. Surely Craig would move his coins if he is satoshi right?

here is all the proof I need: [chronological order] - there is a block size debate going on. - CW contacts a couple of known bitcoin devs and asks them to privately see his proof and publicly announce they have seen it and his claims are true - these devs obviously reject him because it is fishy. (you can see statements of a couple of them around) - 1 person backs him up. none other than Gavin Anderesson. - CW goes big, contacts big news sites to publish his claims. - later we find out the signature or proof provided by CW was a fake and a big lie - to cover up the lie he refuses to provide public proof but promises to soon move coins - this bluff is also becomes clear with passage of time - to cover that up he says something about community treating me bad so I am going away and won't move anything. - things remain silent for a while - scaling debate grows bigger. turns into fight over taking over bitcoin by BU camp and a deadline set by UASF - CW comes out again with his buddies and his nChain trying to use the fake lies to his advantage - certain accounts become active again here saying CW is Satoshi. now you tell me this is all coincidences...
and by the way this is how you prove you are creator of something: simple but at the same time verifiable by anyone (although it is best to include timestamp) source: https://twitter.com/SatoshiLite/status/727157971428331520https://medium.com/@SatoshiLite/satoshilite-1e2dad89a017

I'm sure that it's Satoshi's great plan to stay incognito instead of other crypto-currencies heads likeVitalik Buterin who is nonstop on the mass media. I think Satoshi will appear in front of the audience one day, when it will be the most necessary for Bitcoin.

If "Satoshi will appear in front of the audience one day, when it will be the most necessary for Bitcoin" then bitcoin is a failure. Again, you are missing the point, if bitcoin needs a clear leader, it's obviously not decentralized (like ethereum isn't decentralized, or pretty much any other crypto with a clear leader calling shoots)

See this is something that sounds nice, though I don't think Satoshi is ever going to come out of his shell / even call it a sanctuary for many reasons. Think about it, this guy if some of the reports are true is WORTH AN INSANE amount of money. If he was to sell the Bitcoin which he's going to have, he's going to have to go through a tax / legal hell. All of this also depends on where he lives, if he lives in the US / Western Country he's probably going to be ok and they're not going to seize any funds from him. All they're going to do is tax him to hell, but in other corruput ridden countries they may seize his assets. So, Satoshi isn't going to come out of hiding unless he sees that Bitcoin is going to fail without him coming out and trying to unite the community - at least that's my view of all of this.

May I know why we are discussing Craig Wright once again? If Craig was indeed Satoshi then he would prove it by signing message long time ago similar to Charlie Lee's. The fact that he hasn't done that is enough for me - this dude is a total sham, not worth our time anymore. I am surprised how he is still around and some people think that he is even remotely linked to Satoshi. Craig - show us some real proof and end this show once and for all.

I think claiming to be Satoshi is a very bad idea, there are strong rumors that Satoshi owns around 1 million coins from early mining, and as time goes, they keep growing into a multi billion sums. So, essentially claiming to be Satoshi is like saying "hey guys, I'm a billionaire, come rob me!". I won't be surprised if someone from his family get kidnapped for ransom, or someone will break into his house looking for his coins in the future. I also think it's one of the reasons why real Satoshi is hiding.

It is precisely why if satoshi understood the game theory and Craig Wright is satoshi, and he wants to compete against the other bitcoin blockchains, why if in the case there is an actual hardfork, he would NEED to dump his coins into the competing blockchain. If he does not, then it shows 2 possible things: -He doesn't believe his project (nChain or whatever) is as good as Core's -He doesn't have the coins (he is not satoshi)

Well I believe that there is no more point about stressing out that Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto. It is just stressing and emphasizing the obvious. We will not gain anything from proving CW wrong, it is not worth discussing for. Letting CW be would be the nicest thing to do, maybe he will got tired about yelling that he is Satoshi when no one pays attention to his every claims.

Has anyone noticed that the original upload of the full video is now deleted? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAcOnvOVquoThat is the original URL, and they have deleted it or put it on private or something... strange. It contained the entire conference of 8 hours with some other people that I wanted to hear. Maybe they didn't like the huge amount of dislikes the video had?

[chronological order] - there is a block size debate going on. - BScartell need distractions so pull a social drama out of their bag - CW goes big, contacts big news sites to publish his claims around the time of the 2015 round table - CW contacts a couple of known bitcoin devs and asks them to privately see his proof and publicly announce they have seen it and his claims are true - couple BScartel people back him up. - later we find out the signature or proof provided by CW was a fake and a big lie - to cover up the lie he refuses to provide public proof but promises to soon move coins - this bluff is also becomes clear with passage of time - delay in time is to coincide with distracting people with social drama while other 'round tables' are occurring - to cover that up he says something about community treating me bad so I am going away and won't move anything. - things remain silent for a while - scaling debate grows bigger. turns into fight over taking over bitcoin by BU camp and a deadline set by UASF - CW comes out again with his buddies and his nChain trying to use the fake lies to his advantage
fixed timeline for ya remember CW whistleblew on himself while he made his australian exit, then had the dev 'proof' meetup in the uk after then had it all put on delay 'hush hush' NDA till specific date which coincided with a couple 'round tables' . even the 2017 'roundtable' tried to re-raise the CW social drama whenever the name CW pops up.. dont take notice of it.. instead try to look in the other direction and find what is NOT being talked about such as why is no one talking about the consensus 2017 details of may2017, money 20/20 and even london fintech week happening right now.. oh wait.. because talking about CW is so much more important right (sarcasm) check out the "satoshi roundtable big news" at the start of the year from the media owned by BScartel http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-new-satoshi-nakamoto-rumors/(title says it all)

got some reference for that? maybe I missed it but I can't recall anybody apart from Gavin Andresen to back him up. and I did a search right now and found 2 names only: Gavin Andresen and Jon Matonis who flew to London in order to meet CW. and surprisingly (not really) Jon Matonis now has the executive position (Vice President) in the nChain firm!

COUPLE.. seems you answered your own question however more of the BScartel were 'invited' but declined to get involved (google can help you, as you have learned when answering your own question) you may think gavin is not part of the BScartel due to him leaving core and going with XT/Classic in 2013-2014 yet that was just more social drama distractions to point fingers at XT/clasic while blockstream and Barry silbert(dcg) took the reaigns of core check out DCG.io/portfolio BLOQ.. then look at who is in bloq and to everyone else. here is another kicker of why CW is not satoshi CW explanation of why he chose "satoshi nakamoto" https://youtu.be/v1_gxvx_QGo?t=1h5m31s'i have a single mother and one of the guys that helped raise me was japanese' and then went on to waffle about some 17th century philosopher .. but the real answer is in 2006 the entity that created bitcoin was entertained by other game theories of decentralisation and anonymity, puzzles, cryptography and other things there was a game which was part of perplex city. which part of it was 'finding satoshi' which had a prize. (no the perplex city 'satoshi' in the game guy is not bitcoin inventor) and thats where bitcoins inventor got inspired by the name and used it, much like people now have the word bitcoin as their twitter handle even if they were not around in 2009.. they just like the name of something they find interesting.

Craig Wright is an obvious fraud (and actually a criminal), and it would be highly disappointing if he were Satoshi but luckily he is not. Just watch his recent talk, sponsored by both Bitcoin.com (Roger Ver) and Bitmain (Jihad Wu) who are both bamboozled by CW. He tells users who can't spend $20k on a node to "fuck off". Notice how they have disabled comments on the new videos? looks like im right.
Yet they cry about censorship on r/bitcoin and Bitcointalk. Just watch what you say about CW publicly, you may get a lawsuit.

It should be obvious to any sane individual that Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto Basically, Craig is a fraudster and scammer which served a real term in real prison, though a relatively short one (he certainly deserved more for his future frauds, real or conspired). Such people love to show off and waste monies when they have dough since their life is bright but short (figuratively speaking). So there is no way this dude could possess the keys from 1 million bitcoins and not spend a single satoshi of them at all. As to me, this alone tells by far more than a myriad of rebuttals to his claims
