Simple solution:

Transfer now into LTC before the split, let the dust settle and see what the result is after.

LTC will preserve your value and you will probably make a lot of profit when the big LTC announcement happens on 1st Aug.

Don't go into fiat - that's the worst money in the world.
All-in in LTC is very risky. I prefer 70% LTC, some alts from top (like XRP and others) 20%, 10% BTC.

Is Blockchain wallet safe for this? (Blockchain.info)
No. They aren't even safe to use normally.

can you explain a little bit why blockchain.info isn't safe to use normally?

If you have private keys from your addresses your coins in safe. But if you have many bitcoins I would advise keeping them on Trezor or Ledger.

How do I check to see if my wallet will hold both the currencies?

Trezor and Mycellium are the only two reported ready1.

I'll bounce around on their website but does anyone have any pointers? Thanks in advance!

Try to get your hands on a Trezor or Mycellium. Just make sure you don't hold them on an exchange, such as Coinbase.

I don't think anythings is going to happen, unlike a lot of the Internet trolls - spreading Uneccesary Fighting and Division - it's really, really technically unlikely to succeed.  It's simply a good idea to have a hardware wallet, like Trezor ... KeepKey ... or Bitbox.

mycellium android you man? my account says that contain 7 private keys, but i dont know how to find them or if my wallet is secure

is bitgo scure sir? and what about all the people that never hard about this on time? and their btc is in blockchain.info for example

The private keys are derived from the passphrase of 12 words, you don't really need to see them to know they are there. It's pretty much all you need to keep your bitcoins safe.
BIP148 won't take place until 1st august, people have enough time to take action (15 days), It only take a few minutes tot login into your account in exchanges and online wallets and withdraw your funds to a secure platform.

Which site would be of best to keep your btc if you dont have node wallet?

You don't need to run full nodes, you only need to have control over your private keys and that's something most sites don't give you. Use Electrum for desktop, Mycelium for Android.

Is multibit HD safe to use guys?

They said here that they will support both forks.

Do you guys see any possible issues with their wallet since I am pretty sure they are using a different type of seed wallet words which is not easy to import to lets say electrum?

Thanks for the information.

I have sold all my BTC to fiat money. But is there a problem if I keep the alt coin?

Yep that is why the price declines.   People do the easiest thing, swap to dollars.   Then some draw a conclusion from lower price and there is feedback.   Markets work like that.

Alt Crypto currency has no hard link to bitcoin.   It will not be affected by any changes however crypto coins are related in concept and general sentiment is highly parallel to its big brother so prices tend to do similarly.

No. They aren't even safe to use normally.

can you explain a little bit why blockchain.info isn't safe to use normally?

Any wallet in which you have control over private key is safe like mycelium, electrum, multibit, blockchain, info all are safe.

I don't understand why are people dumping over BTC while they can have them invested in alts???
Even putting in alts wouldn't settle anything for us??? Putting alts on exchanges will also be dangerous???
What will be the future of BTC after this??? Is it going to die on one side after a majority of another side wins and is it really going to be on two blockchains??? If yes, then on which blockchain will our "present" bitcoins be put???

What if i save in bittrex?
Will it be safe?

Bittrex does not differ from other Exchanges/ As it was already said many times it is safe to have coins in the wallet with controllable private keys/ At Bittrex those keys are not in your hands
So the safest step is to store bitcoin in blockchain? is it like that
