Only newbies and wannabe traders are selling thinking that it will fall more which can gain them some profit. About alts there will always be a time when one can say to sell them but with bitcoin it always too early to buy and never late to sell. This problem will surely be solved after 1st august.

The problem is that people don't understand how this market works, and even though they proceed with buying themselves some coins, and thus literally exposing themselves to the volatility, they still get shocked and sell as result. It's always funny to see that when the price goes up, there are noobs saying that they made x profit on y peak, but as soon as the price goes down, they completely change from "pro trader" to noob crying about the price that has gone down with 5-10%. It says a lot about the people participating here in this forum. It's all big talk with no actions to back it up....

Aside from that normal scene, FUD are everywhere that's why some of the people did selling their coins. No doubt that the expected thing to happened on August 1 are mostly negative and that will include that bitcoin price will touched a price that is considered as low price.

Im aware that there is a possibility but I used to face this kind of risk since I entered crypto world. FUD are nothing to me, I will do hodling and see if I can get a reward after.

I will definitely hold my bitcoins till the end of the year as everyone is hoping to see higher price at the end of the year so that would be the perfect time to sell my bitcoins and even now price has gone down so holding is the only option left for me and selling now would give me lower profits.

Well what are your expectations? $10k per bitcoin? Bitcoin's still relatively young, give it some time to take off. Yeah, I'm hoping for the huge drop in pricing and then the skyrocketing, first time 4 years that I can invest some significant money in btc so hoping for that drop.

Seems the price keep rolling but current rate for now didn't go dip for its lowest level so there's nothing to get worried since surely we can see another pump would be happen maybe soon, but if your doubting to see the level of downfall now might better if we sold a little part of our coins so that we may have money to used and to eliminate the nervous feeling a little bit.

But looks you will not sell your bitcoin until august has come for us. The price of bitcoin would be stable as far as i know, Those people are ready for the improvement of the bitcoin itself. There will no a lot of activities in the bitcoin market especially pump the price of bitcoin to go to the moon.

That's probably not a bad strategy. The gains I've made from trading are not that significant yet. Holding has it's benefits like security because you don't have to put bitcoins at risk by putting them on an exchange for trading. It also frees up all the time it takes to follow the price and make trades.

$2,250 is the lowest and it is possible to happen with this type of rolling the price is still always good. We don't have to worry at all everything is going to be fine soon. After the fork we may see the price to get up higher again, so we need only to observe the market. At this moment, everything is calm the market is green.

Its a long time need or more years before we can see that price.. since the segwit or splitting this coming august will be start that i think it can affect the  supply and demand of bitcoin...
our source will be increase and the the demand will be still the same but the price of bitcoin will slowly increase its not the same movement of the price from last few months after the block halving last year.
Maybe we will experience even the price of $5k value but not this year maybe this coming next block halving..

We see a lot of market speculators and other people predicting the price to reach $100K in the future. Well nothing is impossible to bitcoin, it has already proven that it can increase the price dramatically. But with $100K I don't know how long will it take the touch that price. It will probably took us another 5-10 years to get that price. So its better to really hold bitcoin for long term.

The price keeps getting yanked up and down so unpredictably that it's safest to HODL, and that's what I'm doing. I though it would crash at $2000, but it defied my expectations and continued climbing to $3000. After reading about people selling at $1800 in the hope of buying back in at $1000 I abandoned any thoughts of trading and decided to stick with HODLing. The market's just too unpredictable for me to risk trading.
