I like the very LOGO of New York, but doesn't the United States have a policy of restricting ICO?
Not really, China has taken that stand but in the US it's allowed unless there is a specific violation of securities law as some ETH ICO's have found out. Which are? Never heard of

Take advantage of the cheap prices and get as much NYC coins as you can now! 1) When NYC reaches only one penny; 5 million NYC coins will be worth $50,000 2) 50 Million NYC coins will be worth $500,000 = (Lamborghini, Ferrari, Nice home, etc!) 3) And etc!

I've been noticing the past week a lot of stranded transactions that are transmitted along the network but are left stranded in the mempool. I have been starting up my own solo mining, I have a bank of 20 Thunders, to unstrand them occassionaly. This is question more to the pool operators, have you set transaction fees so high that you are ignoring transactions? This is not a good sign for the reliability of the network, in fact it leaves the network unreliable.
Or perhaps all the pools are on that new wallet that we know doesn't work.

I'm not sure what your seeing but my pools coind is on the old version. I show nothing in my mempool at the moment. newyorkcd getinfo { "version" : 1000001, "protocolversion" : 60003, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : "blocks" : 3613691, "connections" : 16, "proxy" : "", "difficulty" : 4.58282833, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1504958049, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "mininput" : 0.01000000,
newyorkcd getrawmempool [ ]
I have been seeing messages (below) in my debug logs. Appears the new version is putting out blocks above version 1. What happens when more blocks are above version 1? is it a percentage? Will version 1 blocks be rejected? 09/09/17 18:56:12 SetBestChain: 1 of last 100 blocks above version 1
EDIT: Also added NYC to the paperwallet generator at https://hobbyistpool.ddns.net/paperwallet/?currency=newyork

You didn't see any stranded transactions cause I put 400MH on it for a few minutes and it cleared them up.
Currently this is what I see:
18:46:35 getrawmempool
18:46:35 [ "a8a70c2c48c442a195fea6a311803c71ea10fbc0afc982b7aac729e0794cbfb6", "beac009c83d016822a151295c73cf90eb91a8898ac9f2f9d44a52389e9afa862" ]
Looks like two stranded transactions at the moment. One of them is mine, and it has been sitting for hours. Strange it is has transmitted through many nodes. I suspect some of them are that piece of shit new wallet that should have never been released without proper testing.

Neither on those are in my mempool. Actually, I see "a8a70c2c48c442a195fea6a311803c71ea10fbc0afc982b7aac729e0794cbfb6" with 15 confirms in the chain.
Get me the raw transaction details and I'll try to re-transmit it for "beac009c83d016822a151295c73cf90eb91a8898ac9f2f9d44a52389e9afa862"

This is the status of the "be" block. It was transmitted like it says through 7 nodes, I still see it in the mempool on my wallet. I suspect there are some of those new wallet versions are not passing things along like they should, everyone should stick with the old proven wallet. I will just start up my solo miners later to pick these up. Strange that this is going on however.
Status: 0/unconfirmed, broadcast through 7 nodes Date: 2017-09-09 12:30 To: Coingather Debit: -20174.20066888 NYC Transaction fee: -0.002 NYC Net amount: -20174.20266888 NYC Transaction ID: beac009c83d016822a151295c73cf90eb91a8898ac9f2f9d44a52389e9afa862

Good news! According to https://coincenter.org/entry/reps-polis-schweikert-introduce-cryptocurrency-tax-fairness-act-in-congress?mc_cid=dd03c78363&mc_eid=576e672ee9 there 's a new Cryptocurrency Tax Fairness Act proposed to US Congress, the bill directly aimed at making the lives of cryptocurrency users easier This bill does two things:: 1.Creates a de minimis exemption for cryptocurrency transactions for goods or services under $600. 2.Requires the Treasury Department to issue guidelines for informational reporting on digital currency transactions for which capital gains is due. Why is it a good news for NYC? Obviously due to the NYC positioning as a crypto for promt and micro payments Suggest to use this one in promotion statements
