In the last few days I have been watching very severe problems with the site in the evenings. The site itself and its website stop loading with a balance view.

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

My trade is taking hundreds of blocks to go through.
And I cannot deposit tokens to the exchange. Transferring from one wallet to another (one created at EtherDelta) took less than a minute. Then I hit 'deposit', was informed about transaction and... nothing happened. And I cannot retry because there is some 'error'. Wait a day, then the deal is canceled and you can send it again, having previously increased the price of gas in the upper right corner.  And put the amount of gas 10. I have it all turns out. |

The Ethereum network has still congestion problems as far as I know. You maybe should have set higher gwei to make the transaction go through. I suggest to always orientate oneself on https://ethgasstation.info/ and to set the Gwei higher than the safelow, then the transactions should be processed normally. I keep it set at 21. The deposits are fast, but the trades always seem to stall, highlighted in blue, for hundreds of blocks. |

I am also trying to use this exchange but in last few days not working for me every time some different error coming just because of this I am not taking any risk for deposit ether network is also not working for many days hopefully this will solve in next few days and then able to do exchange here |

ED still sucks, impossible to make ETH transaction towards ED , it has misconfigured their site to have own benefit
i have successfully sent ETH to other ETH address when it was 18K pending transactions and now but not to ED
The interesting part is yesterday eth network was fine and working with even 5 gwei. But my 35 gwei transfer took 2 hours to get through. Before etherdelta needed lower gas comparing to other transfers. Now it asks for more. you cant compare usual eth network gwei with ED gwei as usually you set gas limit to 21000 but ED has by default 250000 gas limit i bet u can understand my point As far as I know the gas limit is not that important, the Gwei parameter is responsible for the costs of the transaction. In EtherDelta usually we could use Gwei of about 3-5 and the transactions went through easy and fast enough, but now its different, you need to set higher gwei to make the transactions go through. yes it is important parameter (gas limit) gas limit x gwei = max miner fee you allow to take for your transaction (surplus is reversed) |

Yesterday I sold coins on EtherDelta, gas was 4 - the transaction did not pass, I raised it to 8 - all at once!

it just i send enjin to my wallet address to etherdelta or i must do someting else?
I am guessing enjin is ERC20 token on ETH network. If affirmative then I would suggest that you create ETH wallet using myetherwallet. Transfer coins to that. And import that same wallet to etherdelta. |

I guess etherdelta still the favourite exchange for bounty hunters  . The problems occured for trading need to raise the gas, is there anything to do with "kitties" happened recently? |

I think everything is back to normal!!
Transactions go thru in one or two minutes...
Site is not extra slow any more...
I'm able to transfer back and forward, sell and buy!
The only thing I'm seeing is that in some coins the trade history was deleted!
Anyone noticed this? Some coins have only a few days of trades!

See everything will be ok, right now with the increasing price of ETH and Bitcoin. Now the transactions are delaying and network is asking for huge fee, so don't worry about it once they settle everything will be ok and you will see your balance. |

For some reason I couldn't access etherdelta with any browser or VPN for about a couple of days. But then I reinstalled Opera several times (3 or 4) and it started to work. Really strange. Nevertheless love etherdelta.

It is strange it didn't work after the first reinstall but worked after third or fourth. Can you access it with a different browser in that time? |

No, I tried to use Google Chrome with VPN extension and tried to open website on another PC, but it didn't work. It worked on the next day after a couple of reinstallation of the Opera browser and I know it's really strange. Maybe I just miss something. |

Etherdelta has a lot of issues epecially when it comes to their charges and also sometimes the site is not responsive

Now there is a pokemon or similar version of crypto kitties, ethereum chain is suffering again. With it etherdelta started to have some problems again.

Same thoughts and I have seen that one too which I did already expect that sooner or later there would be similar projects that would launch similar to cryptokitties which is usually happening if a certain thing being hyped up and did succeed they would copy the idea and hoping it would go the same path too. For now it would really hurt even more ETH network if this thing would get the same attention. I do hate to make transactions on eth because if you are on a rush you would have no choice but to increase up the gas. |
