I personally mined it like crazy when it released. I earned honestly a huge amount from it. But I don't mine it anymore and I've never checked what's going on really.

From its history, you can see a huge pump. If you want to invest, be careful. That's all I can say about it.

I believe Musicoin focus on musicians and they can distribute their music decentralized and independent but I don't get why they need mining. It could be airdrop, pos or other type of distribution. I don't trust mineable altcoins lately. Too much problems with that.

Not a thing that I would want to invest in because there is no usuage for it outside of the online exchanges. If people want to make money through music or they want to be on Bitcoin’s Blockchain then they could just use Bitcoin. There was a bunch of Music coins built already and the people that built those projects went on to building something else.

Use the right amount of money when investing into a project like that because you could lose every Bitcoin on it.

With all due respect, I must 100% disagree. People are using and listening on and with Musicoin right now. Its the only truly functional music crypto right now. From the business perspective is very promising; this could rise and maintain the value of the currency. That is a tendency and all the market is starting to consider these new practices in investment and in the daily work and Musicoin is doing well on business.

I feel and think (and I even see) that Musicoin is a crap. I tried different versions of Musicoin clients including latest v0.6, and all that clients simply can't find any peers. And I can't find a howto about adding a peers manually. It's a shame for MUSIC developers. Looks like Ethereum's MIST client which also was not able to synchronize with network normally.

p.s. only after this howto I finally forced Musicoin client v0.5 to synchronize.....
