The ethereum will still show a wonderful result. There is no doubt that ether is a coin of the future, promising and justified! Recently, developers are actively working on the future update of the network of the Etherium. In the middle of August, Vitalik Buterin, together with the developer of the Lightning Network, Joseph Poon, announced the Plasma project, which has the potential to optimize smart contracts and simplify the process of calculating financial activities in the blockbuster of the Etherium.
Also a few days ago, information appeared that Vitalik Buterin is now working on three White Paper, which details the Casper concept, the expected version of the protocol, based on the PoS consensus.

You should choice ETH because Waves is not a smarter guy in this field, there are some other coins which are ahead of Waves in everything why don't you compare them with ETH? because ETH is every where I stick with it not for any thing else. Grin

Will there ever be a Waves ANN thread again? The last official one was closed because of in thread bounties? I have already asked that in the Telegram or Slack channels, but nobody seems really to care. Sad

Does any one thinks that Ethereum can survive with the rising of Waves? I've heard that "Waves will be the next Ethereum"

I also believes waves is the next ethereum but ethereum will still stay in the competition because majority of icos are created using smart contract of ethereum and beside it's good for the community to have this two kind of invention

This "Waves is the next Ethereum" thing does not make sense imho. Keep realistic guys. ETH and WAVES are different things. You can build dApps on ETH. You can't accomplish that via WAVES...

Both cryptocurrencies are now hovering around the top ten in market cap. In Waves, smart contracts are not as complex as they are in Ethereum, they are Non-Turing complete, but powerful and secure, waves unit price still cheap when compared to Ethereum.

I don't think that waves might beat Ethereum. I mean many people likes ethereum and the prefer it more than the waves. Somehow in waves platform it is so hard for the coins to pump in there.

I think waves will exceed the price of ethereum but ethereum is very hard to beat in my opinion,
let alone ethereum have smart contract like waves

Waves vs Ethereum ?
Although they are both altcoin, I prefer Ethereum because it has a higher exchange rate than waves and it can handle many transactions compared to waves.

for me, choose ETH why?
because in the past few months I have seen coin eth including many devotees, also relatively stable prices. so for me if buying ETH is very profitable in comparison Waves. because Waves is very slow progress.

Though Ethereum has come earlier in market but Waves is getting much popularity rapidly, I think. In near future, Waves will beat the price of Ethereum .  Roll Eyes

Ethereum is one of the altcoin that is famous next to bitcoin. Comparing ethereum and waves is quite difficulty because they have different platform and features. Each of them is unique in many ways. It's really hard to argue which is better, because both of them has potential.
I hope you start to learn furthermore about what ethereum and waves offers to our cryptocurrency world not just uttering nonsense statement that could make people go wrong.
waves offer blockchain asset so does with ethereum, we can compare both, ETH has etherdelta and Waves has waves dex, both are decentralized exchange. So basically these two are comparable unlike your nonsense opinion.

its not easy to become a famous altcoin. In this case, you've heard that waves will surpass ethereum? just like bitcoin cash?. I dont think so, bitcoin cash is a split of bitcoin, the feature are different, and it's price are higher than ethereum. Even so, the ethereum market cap is still above the bitcoin cash. and waves, there's alot of altcoin right now, and they've all their value plus eachother. So I think waves need to surpass other alt first, and then become the next ethereum.

yeah perhaps yes, perhaps not. Ethereum is already on its long way run and 2nd to Bitcoin in sense of cryto-currency. ICOs come and go and everything has its own time of success. Maybe its the time of Waves to reach its high demand but along with this the value of waves increase and for sure many holders will withdraw to gain some profit. Then they will exchange it to ETH for that's what they usually do.

waves vs ethereum? I think the comparison between these two coins is very different, especially for clarity and long hours investors definitely prefer ethereum, but waves also do not want to lose

What is the reason of comparing this two altcoin? We all see the big difference of this two altcoin, they knows that ethereum is more famous compare to waves. Moreover regarding price of this two altcoins we all know that ethereum is more expensive compare to waves.
