ICO is the best way to invest?

It might not be the best way to invest, but at least an affordable one if you are just getting started (you don't need to spend thousands of dollars on each ICO, so if you find a few you are interested in, you get the chance to diversify).
Some ICOs will fail and some will bring a great return, like with any other investment you may do. It's a combination of doing the research and a bit of luck (with so many ICOs going on).

in 90% of cases the ico (even after collecting the required amount) to lose in price. This occurs by the fact that the project is not worth anything except the promises of the developers. It seems to me that this is not the best investment.

Oh, maybe you never see the price of Bitquence, Monaco, Stratis increase in long time, if you know that, you will feel surprise with ICO market and your opinion will change soon .

The price of some tokens after they enter the market go up that is true but most of the time the icos that I have monitored, the price goes down and it stays there for a lot of time, and sometimes it never recovers, and when you add the banning of icos in China and the US it seems this market is not going to last for long.

Yes, investment in ICO is very profitable but very risky because if we are careless in choosing ICO of course the risk of loss will be higher it should take the right analysis by following the news about the ICO to be followed see the community review of ICO, and can conclude that ICO is good or bad,

I don's think so. First of all, in fact, there is no way to trace the implementation phases of the project. Secondly, it's really difficult to distinguish a worthy project from unpromising.

Bitcoin and any other major crypto already provide a rather wide margin of potential gains. I would stick to them.

People have a natural desire to maximize their earnings, if you are getting 10% in profits then you want 20% and if you get 20% then you want 50%, that is the way people work and business work in this way too, if you get less profits in this quarter than in the last, people worry about losing money despite the fact that you did not lost money, what it happened was that the profits got smaller.

You need to define or elaborate on "best".

ICOs are not the best way to invest if you are a super conservative retiree.

ICOs are the best if you are a risk taker, want to be on the ground floor or want to be involved in something that is interesting.

Is the ICO the best way to invest? I'm not sure, but i know it is very well way to spend your money on.
The biggest and worst problem is scam...  Investing in ICOs is not like putting some money, waiting few days and extractioning thousands of dollards.
The real world is hard, because you must know well the head of ICO, developers the idea and prospect of the coin, YOU must just feel that this is it.
Or find some people who are professionals and ante the money if you want.
To sum up, ICO is one of the most popular(here), efficient and sometimes if you dont like to read white paper encumbered big risk( greater risk = greater money or hole). Good luck!

Ico's can be very good investment opportunities but most of the time can also be a great way of wasting your hard earned money. Since I don't like the amount of risk involved I usually pass on ico's. Even though it's arguably the best way to invest.

I'm not sure if that is the biggest problem with ICOs.  Some of the ICOs are likely scams, but most of the ICOs are likely good intentions with bad ideas.

Some applications are ideal and natural fits for crypto currencies.  These applications will disrupt and potentially replace existing industries, such as remittances.  However, not all applications are good fits for crypto currencies.

People are trying to put anything and everything onto a blockchain, including the toaster.  Many of these are not good fits.  There's a project that wants to hook up locals with visitors to enhance the travel experience.  Why a crypto currency is needed, I'm not sure.

Yes absolutely! If you are lucky when the ICO succeed you will gain a very big profit from it. But be careful when choosing who to invest with because alot of ICO's are just scam.

Investing in ICO is very profitable if ICO is followed successfully, even tenfold profit even a hundredfold if it is a big and successful ICO but to look for such ICO is certainly not as easy as imagined because ICO is currently a lot of scam.

I agree with you . We are the investor in the project and we have to understand that project more than anyone, which will give us confidence to participate in an ICO project and will definitely be an item long term investment in that ICO.

Yet, most of them are scammers or fail at the end when launch on exchanges. If you're really afraid with lose, would be better to trade on exchanges than invest on ICO because lesser risk and you still get profit from there depend with the market movement.

Now, as you can see, the ICO has been banned by China, USA and Korea, maybe later will be regulated by more counties, so I think it become a higher invest way than before, you should also know the policy risks.
