I  think no , but if you are an ICO investor then you will definitely check out every potential project as it will decide a lot for you in the future. If the project attracts a lot of whales it is best to stay away as the project is just a pump or dump for a short time.

If you hit a jackpot and invested in a strong ICO and that is not a scam,  then yes it is very good for investment.  Prices in pre ICO and ICO tends to be very low with lots of bonuses and discounts.  You could earn a lot of tokens with a small budget of btc or eth,  then just wait till the coins fly high and then cash out.  Invest in another ICO and so on.

Nobody really know so far. Even though some ICOs made early investors become rich, I've noticed that most of the ICOs make early investors regret not to have bought the tokens later on some exchange for lesser money.

Recently, some promising ICO projects such as AVENTUS were sold out quickly, but the price is still below the ICO price, so I think it is better to buy some cheap token after the ICO is over, especially after the bounty tokens are distributed.

Since bounty hunters will easily sold it after distribution,  when it could be a good chance for us to justify t save or hold it and act as oue savings since we didn't put capital on it yet maybe they have reasons too.

buying after ICO is the best for me, most coins getting dip after the distribution of coins after ICO and later on will pump up higher that ICO price. But it is not always the case so watch out for good ICO out there, analyze them hard so you can choose well.

With the current choices in this field nowadays, indeed it is one of the best ways to invest your money. In terms of profits that ICO'S can bring we have no problem. The only problem is will it be a hit or miss? If you'd hit it, so wow nice decisions instead of putting your funds in Hyips, gambling, and cloud minings that has a very high risk involved of losing all your money. How to avoid misses? Though ICO'S has a risk involved too, but you can minimize risk. How? By just simply looking at the basic requirements that a good ICO has. Team, future listings, current funds raised, good whitepaper and more. As you have already judged the ICO, the decision will be upon your judgement if you are gonna take it or leave it.

I could compare ICO as preselling of a condominium building, at preselling the price is so low that it is affordable by anyone but after it is established the price doubles or even triples but in the case of cryptocurrency its about x100 of the original price but the risk are also the same. The question is it will be established or not. That's why before buying any ico, read their white paper, goals and will the token be useful and be used for long term.

There are tons of ICO projects around sometimes its very difficult to predict which one will be profitable going forward. That's why I always trust my gut feeling when it's time to make a wise decision before investing.

ICO is a great way to invest actually. But only if you have strong hands to hold until some of the roadmap's development and updates are reached. That would mean at least 6 months of holding. ICO prices are great because there are bonuses given. But be reminded that you have to carefully choose the best ICOs.

not really.
depend on your goal, your strategy and money management also more importantly which ICO are you in.
Some ICO require you to sell immediately, while some you can keep for a while, some require you to keep for long, but you can have lower entry after ICO.
there are a lot of factors need to be consider.

After all, there is no simple straightforward formula for investing.  The market is very dynamic and changing.  Just keep learning, keep reading, and keep trying.

Yes i think it's true.
ICO it's a great opportunity to buy ICO coins. because ICO have a bonus period. so you can purchase coin in ico period than you get bonus. But sincerely you first check it, and you should research of the project root and whitepaper, then you will purchase it.

but from my dives I follow ICO not too much to have, even better trading when coins enter the exchange. but unless an ICO bonus offer above 50% may earn more.

Ico is nowadays not a smart money investing strategy. We are in a huge Ico bubble, crypto companys launching their Ico are way too much overrated. It's funny, that most of them raise more money than they would be ever worth once they're listed. Back in the days, Icos was a smart and safe way to make fast money, but as a result of the hype, they became overrated in a insane way.
This always happens, we have reached mania status, at first people begin to invest in something and then when they find out that it is profitable then other people take note and invest as well, after these people become successful as well, then everyone that were on the fence about investing begin to invest in any project no matter how useless it may seem at first sight, and then the profits evaporate and most people lose their money in those new investments opportunities.

If the opportunity presents itself to invest in a promising ICO then I would say definitely take it. At the moment I am looking to invest in Propthereum.io, an asset backed cryptocurrency on the blockchain. All proceeds raised from their ICO will be used to purchase A-grade property worldwide. This will generate a rental income and underlying value for the PTC token holder. The great thing about this concept is that the coin will always increase in value. Check them out and let me know your thoughts. I always appreciate other investors opinions.

ico is not necessarily the best way to invest, but it is the fastest way to invest, allowing good projects to grow as quickly as possible. Wink
