As always, in investments everything depends on the depth of the analysis of the project, product, company, planning parameters. If everything satisfies your internal attitudes, then it means that investments will be made. I think this today is one of a number of "best" investment destinations because it is available to every Internet user!

Not all ICO are the best as there are many scam ICOs also available so do good research before investing into it or you are likely to loose your money as in the past many people have lost their money by investing in it.

Yes, it is the best way to invest and at the same time the best way to lose money--like what happened in confido where the team looks legit at first then coupled with a good bounty campaign and hype...the rest is history. Due diligence can only get you far enough; investments are a risk to begin with.

yes, it's good to invest in ICOs if you invest, they give you a discount on your purchased tokens. If the ICO succeeds, the value of your purchase will be higher and sometimes you will be rewarded, so you will be more likely to invest in ICOs.

I think ICO is not always a good way to invest because there are still a lot of ICO scams and sometimes there are ICO guards that fail. therefore we should be able to determine which ICO is good for investing to get big profits.

ICO is a great way to rise the money. But startups have to present their traction. Especially founders.

The risks in classic investment is very high 9 of 10 startups are die (frozen). And only one grow up 10 times.
With ICO I hope this statistics will be lower. Because team don't worry about investments and can concentrate only to creating a product.

The problem is how many of those projects that failed were actual projects and how many of those were scams pretending to be projects, that is why there is many people that have decided to stop investing in icos since scammers are doing whatever they want and earning huge amounts of money by doing nothing.

ICO gives an excellent opportunity and a huge choice for investment. If you invest the money correctly, you can get a decent profit. For example, yesterday I received 60% of profits in Aeron. Classic trading platforms (Forex, etc.) don't give such an opportunity.

Ico can definitely give you alot of profits and give you a chance on becoming a millionaire if you invest on a very good and promising project. But be very obsevant and responsible on your own investment and before you invest you better dig in and research all the thing you need to know about the project and even try to see the profile of the team thats behind the project.

Normally at ICO or soon after exchange listing is the cheapest time to buy an altcoin. The trade off is that most projects aren't proven at ICO stage so there is a higher amount of risk. In traditional investing it's comparable to investing in an early stage startup. Most fail but if you have the ability to pick out projects with good potential you can do very very well.

We have to deep examination the project team to make the investment, we must thoroughly study the project and investigate the opponents on the market too. If there are too many competitors, we have to focus on how the project new brings innovations. Investment isn't a business that needs to be done in a hurry.

its true its one of the best way to invest but its doesnt mean its the best way than other. sometimes just buying coin from trading could make more money rather than joining the ico. it depends thought. but i would say investing in ico not a bad idea

Not all ICO are the best way to invest. A lot of people finding the way to invest their money and just like any other investment project ICO has also a risk if you’re knowledge and experience about cryptocurrency is not sufficient to determine whether it’s another form of online scam that I recently experienced before. There is a possibly also that the project will failed at the end or reduced its target cap. If were finished in researching about project and making sure that the project is worth to invest then pre-sale will be the right time to invest, we can buy their tokens with cheaper price compared to public ICO.

And, amongst them, how many were scam? Can anyone has a figure of how many coins have been inappropriately taken from investors? On the other hand, which ones were the most successful ones?

It is a very good way to invest, but you have to be careful and take into account some things:
  -as long as ICO is unregulated you can never know whether the project is fake or not
  -even if the project isn't a scam it could lack monetarily supporting, so it won't be popular and eventually will turn into nothing
  -you can never know which country could be the next to act like China in September 2017
